One of the nastiest places Ive ever worked. The people that work there are very friendly, until you begin to point out the health code violations theyre breaking. May I also add being friendly does not indicate youre properly completing your job. My first night closing I was pushed out before being able to properly clean/sanitize certain areas where necessary. I came in three hours early before a corporate walk through chiseling the grease off of the walks and cooking equipment. I was told by the GM the back side of the grill and floor under the grill had not been cleaned in a very long time. There is no reasonable explanation for all the egg shells and nearly molded hashbrowns that came out from under that grill when I did what should have been done months ago. One of the shift leaders took a cigarette out of her mouth and placed it on a prep table next to a cutting board that was in use. Personal drinks and food are place in prep areas around food that will be sold to the public. Active managers sat down with customers during times where I was the only cook and not only watched but expected that I complete several jobs individually. I understand my job, honestly, a lot better than the majority of these managers. One of which who asked how I was able to cook three tickets at a time. That in itself is a statement to be made. However if your cook is on his fourth or fifth day, why would you watch as he cooked for a quick rush, did prep, sanitized, did dishes, and more while you sit idly simply complimenting the cooks presentation. As a manager you should be doing more than pandering to people. You should make sure the establishment theyre eating at is clean enough to do so. Furthermore when addressing these issues and walking out I was met with aggressive behavior by both the GM and DM of this store. Who believed the only objective was to belittle me and expect me to take the disrespectful tone they directed at me. Then expressed their beliefs on how "out of line" I was when telling them I will not tolerate disrespect. Speak to me respectfully then that is what you will receive. Talk to me disrespectfully you will get a tone back. Figured youd be more concerned with the health code...
Read moreMy husband, son and my sons girlfriend took me to eat Boaz Huddle House for Mothers Day. We had a pretty big order about $70. We come to this location quite often my Husband and I do and normally leave a tip for our waitress and the cook. Never have we ever complained about anything here but today I'm to my limit. Our order was put in at 10:18am we got our food at 12pm. I understand they were busy, but that gives them no reason to treat there paying customers Badly. I asked the waitress we had who they girl in the red shirt with red hair was she told me she was the one in charge over the store. For one she should never be in charge talking about your customers the way she did. She had even made a comment about myself. Not only being rude they had drinks setting on the dishwasher and they would take drinks and make food. She wiped her nose never changed gloves or washed her hands just went right back cooking. Nasty!!!!! When our waitress took our order I watched her put our ticket up and was watching the cook. That is the fun of coming to a place you can watch them prepare your food. Well your so called store manager yells out I cant stand being stared at. If this is how you have your crew treat the people who you depend on so you can get paid, I will never step foot in your...
Read moreSaturday, March 13,2021, my husband and I with 2 grandkids went around 10:25pm. They were not that busy, got our table, placed our order and waitress brought our drinks along with our ticket. Few minutes later there was an interruption of a guy stand yay the tall counter talking to the workers about how long it was taking for his food. Here comes another guy in from outside with a bottle of alcohol stuck in his back pants pocket and confronts an employee. Still waiting our food. Few minutes later, guy stands back up to confront employees over counter and makes a scene, then goes outside. It’s around 11:00 now. He comes back in and gets his food now. Here comes the other guy back in from his car again with the bottle of alcohol in pants pocket confronts an employee again at the counter He has been outside drinking, can be easily seen from where we were sitting inside. It’s 11:20 and we still don’t have our food. NOT ACCEPTABLE........with 2-3 people cooking, 4-5 waitresses. Im LEAVING..... I offered to pay for our drinks but they yell “we got a walker” YES you do after 1hour of waiting on food Nobody seemed to be in CHARGE Nobody seemed to care People leaving as we walked out said their food wasn’t good , they waited almost 45 minutes to get...
