Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Boaz

Update: Me and my husband decided to try Sonic again for lunch. Orderd on the app. Chili cheese coney, easy on mustard and easy on relish. Also, ordered unsweet tea. I am sharing a picture of how overboard they went on the relish and mustard. I can't even eat it. And, the unsweet tea is sweet. Diabetics can't drink sweet tea. Back to not eating at this Sonic. We have to eat Sonic somewhere besides Boaz.

This Sonic used to be great. I don't know what changed, but it is awful now. Just ordered drinks and the tea is terrible. Every time I order their tea now it tastes nasty. Very rarely does it taste right. It tastes like they don't clean the machines and containers like they are supposed to. It literally tastes dirty and soured. Ordered blasts several times now and they hardly have anything in them and they don't blend them up, the little bit of stuff is on top and on bottom. We used to order breakfast burritos there frequently. We don't order them anymore because the quality has gone down so much and they half throw...

The reason for only 3⛤'s is because on most of visits my experience is quite good. The have great Ice cream cones, shakes, & slushies. The food however is a different story. Some times it's great and then the other times not so great for example today I stopped and got my son a chicken strip sandwich, but by the time I was finished tearing off the hard parts there was barely any chicken left for him to eat. I was very displeased. Now, for the waitress, she had great customer service. She was a very sweet young girl. As for the time it took to get my food out to me. That took as long as if I was at a sit down restaurant. I kid you not. Lastly was my son's slush. Like I said earlier they're usually good, but this time that was not the case. It was pure liquid. It was like they made it first and while it sat there and melted they waited on the cook to finish cooking my...

Wondering why it seems like no one cares about the fact that the manager at Boaz Al Sonic is vaping inside the kitchen while food is being made!!! They thought we would eat the food they made while this guy was smoking there??? Did he really not think about food contamination? The vapor produced by e-cigarettes contains a complex mixture of chemicals, including propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavorings, and oftentimes nicotine. When exhaled near food, these substances can settle on surfaces and potentially be ingested by others. .You can just imagine what else they are doing there that us customers will never know!! Told them to refund my money and drove away. Might be people who do not care about it what happens in the kitchen where their food is made but I do and that is why I posted this so everyone can choose do they want contaminated...
