Please take note: they only accept cash or check. They don't accept credit cards. However, it is well WORTH stopping off at the bank or ATM to dine here. Also keep in mind, their hours of operation, as they are a breakfast, lunch, brunch dining establishment.

Now for my review...

I haven't visited in awhile, but wanted a recent transplant to dine and see this place before moving back to Chicago. The food is ALWAYS delicious, the service is great and the decor charming and festive, especially during the holidays. The owners go all out, especially in the ladies Bathroom. IYKYK The cakes and muffins are the most flavorful I've had, as are the unique drinks. The minted lemonade with a splash of raspberry was nearly on every table, including ours. We both ordered the tea sandwiches with soup. My dining companion ordered the ham salad and egg salad with Gazpacho and a Blueberry Muffin...and I had the salmon salad and Tuna salad with Sweet Potato Soup with Orange Cranberry muffin... with fruit garnish... we both tried each others...EVERYTHING was delicious.

We were both full but decided to grab a slice of their Banana Cake to go, to eat later...Banana Cake with banana creamcheese frosting layered with fresh bananas. YUM! Their cakes are a little pricey, but for homemade, it was so worth it to treat ourselves.

Phillip, one of the two owners came to our table and we had a nice chat about Boca and how much has changed. Then he got back to work and I noticed him beckon to the Amazon driver upon walking in, to come to the back counter. He offered him a muffin and a drink. The young Amazon driver walked out with a big smile on his face. When a business owner cares about a delivery driver its so kind and heartwarming to see and of course inspires me to support this cafe EVEN MORE!!

Do yourself a favor and come in for lunch or Brunch, bring some friends. This place is charming and everything they serve is delicious. There is sometimes a wait for a table because its not a large place, but WELL WORTH the wait.

Don't forget to check out the bathroom (holidays), especially if you have kids or are a Big Kid yourself. Its MAGICAL! 🥰😍🪄✨

P.S. Parking is a bit tricky, due to the small narrow parking lot. Better to...

My recent visit to The Tin Muffin Cafe with my wife and 7-year-old son was an experience well worth sharing. Despite a considerable wait time, the overall satisfaction far exceeded my initial expectations, making every moment of the wait utterly worthwhile.

From the attentive service provided by the staff to the exceptional quality of the meals, everything surpassed what I had hoped for. Our selection included the Pumpkin Bread with Chicken Salad, French Baguette Chicken Salad Sandwich, Blueberry Muffin, along with beverages such as coffee, tea, and lemonade.

Let me emphasize, the quality of the ingredients was outstanding; everything prepared with meticulous care and chosen for its freshness and flavor. The arugula in the sandwich, for instance, was notably vibrant in taste, indicating superior ingredient quality. Moreover, the cafe’s attention to detail was reminiscent of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The blueberries in the muffin seemed to have been marinated in their homemade lemonade, introducing an unexpected and delightful burst of flavor with each bite. The Pumpkin Bread was another highlight, moist and richly flavored, akin to carrot cake but with a more pronounced and satisfying taste. The lemonade stood out as the freshest and most comforting I’ve ever had. As someone who prefers plain Americano, I was pleasantly surprised by the hazelnut-infused coffee, which boasted a genuine nutty flavor rather than artificial additives. Even the green tea was enhanced with a hint of vanilla.

In summary, the 30-minute wait was transformed into a memorable experience by the sheer joy and satisfaction derived from the meal. The Tin Muffin Cafe has certainly set a high standard, not just in the quality of their food, but also in the overall...

It never ceases to be a pleasure to eat at this long-standing establishment. Everything is consistently fresh, delicious and quickly served. For folks who complain about pricing, I would suggest that they eat at other restaurants in Boca and compare. Yes, there is little parking directly in front of the restaurant but a spot can almost always be found within 1 block and it's Florida after all, so a block's worth of walking is hardly tedious. No, they don't accept credit cards and anyone who's had a small business will understand why - it's just one more thing that adds to the cost of doing business, and since some reviewers have complained about prices, why would the restaurant owner want to do anything else to drive up costs? I have not experienced poor service here, but what I have observed is that customers occasionally bring their poor attitude along with them to dine (it's a small space so all other diners are within earshot) and perhaps that reduces service quality from time to time. I have observed the owner walking around from table to table inquiring as to customers' satisfaction, and was impressed by his personal involvement and commitment to quality. And his new coconut cupcakes are superb - an excellent addition to his dessert offerings, which are already the...

***CASH ONLY*** We arrived early enough to beat the crowds that waited for tables shortly after we sat down at an outdoor table. I loved this small, charming cash-only cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, a short walk from downtown. Very friendly service with multiple staff servicing every table. Everything was fresh and all the entrees at the nearby tables looked fabulous and makes me want to come back and try other items. We ordered Raspberry Iced Tea and a regular Iced Tea. We enjoyed it with a Salad Platter with Curried Chicken Salad and a House-made Banana Muffin and a special of the day Grilled Chicken Salad Platter with Blue Cheese, Walnuts and Apples and a House-made Blueberry Muffin. Everything was tasty and fresh with a large portion. The muffins were moist, but a reasonable size; more old-school than what you normally get nowadays. The baked treat was the perfect size to complement the salad, so we left feeling full, but not stuffed. On our waitress' recommendation, we shared a piece of the signature Banana Cake. The cake was moist and flavorful and the icing was perfect, but not too sweet. The restroom was a treat, since it's decorated excessively for the holidays and changes to celebrate each occasion. The whole cafe felt honey and welcoming. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ $$

The Tin Muffin Cafe is located in Boca Raton and absolutely magical! I have been going there for the past 10 years and everytime I go I wonder why it has been so long since I was there last! Nestled in East Boca off Palmetto Park Road with just a short walk to the beach sits The Tin Muffin Cafe. They decorate for every holiday but Christmas is truly magical of course. They have homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, quiches and the most scrumptious baked goods that are out of this world. When you walk in the door it as if you are transported back to a cozy Christmas small town cafe, very far from the busy and populated life of south florida! it’s the perfect setting for a Christmas Hallmark movie! The bathrooms are where you want to hide out! You feel like you are in a Christmas village the minute you step foot inside the bathroom! It’s the perfect cafe to go on a date, meet up with friends, take your kids, take your grandkids…. Truly magical and well worth checking it out if you have never been or need to be reminded to go back! I ate my lunch too fast to take pictures but included the dessert and decor!
