Ideal Nutrition — Restaurant in Boca Raton

I’ve been searching for an affordable, convenient meal plan solution for a while now. Between working full-time, moving, raising kids, managing pets, and having a husband who also works, cooking dinner each night just wasn’t realistic. We found ourselves ordering out multiple times a week, which was not only unhealthy but also getting way too expensive.

After asking around, several friends recommended Ideal Nutrition, and I’m so glad they did. At just $8.50 per meal, it’s one of the most budget-friendly options I’ve seen for a local meal delivery service. Many others in the area were significantly more expensive.

They offer a decent variety of meals each week. While many of the items contain cheese (which I personally don’t love), my husband happily eats those. Luckily, there are plenty of non-cheese options too. Some of my favorites include:

Korean Ground Beef BBQ Pulled Pork with Rice & Beans Thai Crispy Chicken with Sticky Rice and Broccoli Vegan Lentils with Butternut Squash Even their plant-based meals are full of flavor. The portions are on the smaller side, which I actually appreciate since I’m trying to be more mindful of my caloric intake. Sometimes I’ll add extra rice or veggies if I want to bulk it up a little, but most of the time I don’t need to.

A nice surprise has been that many of the meals are kid-friendly too—my kids actually enjoy several of the dishes, which makes my life even easier.

Meals come in individual plastic containers, delivered in a temperature-controlled bag with ice packs every Sunday. You store them in the fridge and heat them up in the microwave—super easy. Sometimes I’ll toss the chicken in the toaster oven for a few minutes to crisp it up a bit more.

So far, we’ve also tried:

Chicken Carbonara Grilled Shrimp Romano Chicken Pulled Chicken Pancakes Every item I’ve tried has been delicious. My husband keeps saying he can’t believe these meals are only $8.50.

They last about a week in the fridge and can be frozen if you don’t get to them in time. Best of all, there’s no subscription required—I just order à la carte each week, which works perfectly for our unpredictable schedule. As a teacher, I also really appreciate the 10% discount for educators and first responders.

Updating to reflect my great experience with management! The regional manager personally called me the very next day, immediately and humbly apologized, and took full responsibility for what happened. He went above and beyond to make things right and to ensure I was completely satisfied. His genuine care, professionalism, and quick action truly made me feel valued as a customer - and honestly, I wish more upper management handled situations this way.

Everyone can have an off day, but it speaks volumes when leadership steps up, owns it, and does the right thing. This follow-up completely restored my confidence in the brand. Thank you for making it right, Ideal Nutrition!

I’ve been a loyal Ideal Nutrition customer for a while, but my initial visit to the East Boca location was incredibly disappointing. Parking with meters was already frustrating, but the main issue was the lack of customer service. I came to pick out three separate orders totaling 37 meals and $336, and not one of the four employees near the counter greeted me or offered help - they were more focused on chatting and joking with each other than assisting customers.

At checkout, I asked them to please bag the three orders separately but keep them on one transaction. The thin plastic bags kept ripping, and I noticed the sturdier black bags used for deliveries sitting behind the counter. Being offered one of those would’ve made a huge difference - both in customer service and convenience - especially since I was visibly wearing a brace for my broken thumb. My car was parked directly in front of the entrance, yet I still had to make two trips to carry everything myself while they continued their conversations. After paying, I didn’t even get a thank you.

When I got home, I realized the meals had been mixed up between the three orders. I really do love Ideal Nutrition’s food, so this experience was disappointing, but I’m glad management later addressed it so...

My dream come true! Fresh, healthy, delicious, affordable meals I can pick up and take home. I am over the moon with this place and here's why:

Customer Service -- it's awesome! Big shout-out to Sophia and Alexandra who gave me five-star service from my first phone call to my pick up at the store. These ladies were lovely. They know their products, explained everything, and even made suggestions for the type of food I wanted and showed me everything in the store. Give these ladies a raise! They deserve it.

Store Experience -- it's clean, organized, and has a breezy vibe about it. Nothing bright, cluttered, or crowded. Lots of room to move about when other customers are in the store, and there is no loud music.

Food -- the best. I am loving the meals I chose! They are much lower in fat, sodium, and sugar than Fitlife meals which I tried a month ago and wasn't too happy about them. There is lots to choose from at Ideal Nutrition. I bought a dozen meals for around $100.00 which is a dream come true for this single, working girl. The meals are fresh and of quality ingredients, and they taste delicious, like a restaurant meal, but better and leaner. So far, I am loving the Cheeseburger Bowl, the Firecracker Meatballs, and the Turkey Taco Bowl.

Also, you can freeze the meals for up to three weeks, which is a huge convenience for me.
