$675 A YEAR WAS $70 A YEAR why are you pushing the fishermen out. The City residents live on the inter coastal so why do they even need a sticker for only $200 I would gladly pay $200 from the $70 I use to pay. But $675 that is insane. I'm sad to say that you are taking away a true enjoyment for a big group of middle class boaters that can not afford this outrageous PRICE!!!!

It's a great location if you like to watch drawbridges and the boats that go under them. It's a nice park with public bathrooms and free parking for 2 hours. There are several places where you can fish. The boat ramp at this location is by permit only. It even has a floating dock for jet skis.

A neighborhood staple! One of my favorite morning spots to frequent after I have my Pure Green smoothie. Park is well kept and litter free. Very easy to run, jog or walk through. Great for an a before or after dinner walk on a date or night out on the town.

Silver Palm Park is a 3.7 acre park at the base of the Palmetto Park Bridge. It has car and trailer parking and two boat launches but you have to buy a permit from the city. There are also picnic tables and a restroom. The park is mainly used by people who want to fish and boaters.

The city of Boca Raton has approved a project to create a park on the other side of the bridge and connect it to Silver Palm Park. The project is called Wildflower/ Silver Palm Park. The city plans on adding a wide walkway, boat launch and washing station, fish cleaning area, picnic area, a children's play area, an open area for events, and more restrooms. $483,700 has been approved for the design of the park, and the budget to build the park is 8 million dollars. The name Wildflower comes from the name of a night club in the 1980's that used to sit on the 2.3 acres the city purchased for the project in 2009 for 7.5 million dollars. The club has since been demolished and the land has sat vacant for 10 years. The land was originally slated to be a restaurant but the city wants to keep the space open since people are objecting to how the area is becoming built up by developers. The height limit on buildings was raised to 14 stories in 2008 which allowed for more towers to be built in Boca Raton. The city wants to create a place that will revitalize the downtown water front area. This past December the city marketed Wildflower as a place park and see the holiday boat parade. A date for the completion of the project has not...

Over budgeted the boat ramp by a lot & decided to use their incorporated city limits to impose a $200 fee for them while EVERYONE else including outside the Boca Raton city limits but are still in Boca Raton, pay $675. **Should of considered something else like this: -Tier 1: $200 (inner Boca Raton city) -Tier 2: $275 (outer Boca Raton city) -Tier 3: $475 (outside of Boca Raton) -Tier 4: $675 (outside of West Palm Beach)

Even those $ above are outrageous but keeping inline with their "increase costs". I would gladly remove this negative feedback if they fix it otherwise it...
