Upon arrival, I was greeted by a charming and vibrant atmosphere. The shop was spotless, with that unmistakable “new” feel. The energy was uplifting, and the baristas were not only friendly but clearly passionate and knowledgeable about their craft. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners, whose vision for supporting and connecting the small community is already coming to life.

Adding to its charm, Boga Coffee Co. shares its space with the Renaissance Studio Art Gallery, featuring fascinating historical facts about local talent and contributions from notable figures. The artwork, painted by Malinda White—retired from the Louisiana Legislature—is a beautiful and meaningful addition.

Visited for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who generously shared his inspiring vision for the community space along with some fun facts about its creation. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start.

I ordered an iced vanilla latte with vanilla cold foam—absolutely delicious! Prices were very reasonable, and the service was impressively fast.

The space itself is a true gem. It’s beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, featuring custom, locally made furniture and a stunning countertop crafted from repurposed wood from the former YMCA basketball court. The attention to detail is evident in every corner.

The iced mocha in a bucket is awesome. The girls at the counter are quick.(Yes, I said girls because despite the video that is on their facebook, I have never seen any guy in here working.)
