Jasmine Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bolivar

I would like to show a picture of what my step son eats....a bowl of French dressing some fried noodles the kind you put in your soup...and sprinkles what you would put on your ice cream. He only likes to fit in...so we were charged for a meal....this I think is unreasonable. My step son is fed through a feeding tube...he doesn't not eat food like you and me....he cannot...so you say don't take him to a buffet!!!!it is where my granddaughter wanted to go for her birthday. So I guess we leave him out of the family celebration and leave him at home....I chose not to eat since they were charging him for this meal.. I am appalled at the disengaged and belligerent response from the owner...that is mattered not that he couldn't eat. He was at a buffet he had to pay.....so I told he to charge for them and I wouldn't eat. Thanks for the great experience...Jasmine's buffet is unreasonable and unjust when it comes to charging people ...basically ripping us off... God forbid she ever had to see what it's like to have a handicapped child....go...

Lunch buffet. No meat. There were only three dishes that I would call a meal. Mongolian Beef, Pork in Black Bean sauce and Chicken Broccoli. I could find very little beef, pork our chicken in any of the dishes. Ok, lunch crowd and busy. Thought people had picked all the meat out so I waited and went back to the buffet line while they were refilling the pans. No difference, very little meat in any of the dishes. I'm not a Vegan. I eat meat and expect it in a dish that specifically calls for it. Also, the Hot and Sour soup was not anything I am familiar with. To call it thin would be generous. And it looked strange. Was afraid to eat it. If you like onions though you're in luck. All the dishes I've described we're chock full of onions, nothing but onions. The dishes were properly spiced so ...... the onions we're delicious 😋 My opinion, owner cheaping out hoping nobody notices or complains. I did and you should too. I’m pretty sure that Jasmine is not Chinese (I’ve seen the movie and she looked more middle-eastern than Chinese), but she cooks some mean Chinese food. Props to her. And don’t expect to see Abu or the genie. They are not on-site.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I have gone to Jasmine numerous times. There’s never been a time that I have been disappointed. The food is consistently good. There’s a great variety in food. Food on the buffet is always fresh. Honestly, there’s not much more that you could ask about a Chinese buffet. The location here is always clean. I have never ever had an issue with my table being dirty with the food on the buffet looking old. The workers do an excellent job of keeping your drink filled.
