Hearty Platter Bonduel — Restaurant in Bonduel

I've read GREAT reviews with this place. However... they were closed due to remodeling. I've never had any type of experience due to remodeling. I pulled up today & they were OPEN! I was sooo excited! I walked in. Sat at the counter... and NOTHING! Just a bunch of chatter in the kitchen. I was the only customer in the place. I sat there ONE too many minutes too long! This is not a good look for a remodel/ "NEW LOOK/SERVICE"

I finally jus walked out bcuz obviously... the employees were more focused on hanging out in the kitchen, rather than taking care of their customers.

I'm in the area at least once a month & I visit this location because I love KT! I hope I can have a great experience next time but Iam so doubtful & disappointed!

Btw... this was probably shift change. Around 11pm.

Generally 2nd & 3rd shift jus don't gaf!

Usually the Supervisor/GM works 1st shift. Which is usually better service. Smh

Was excited because I was told this place was really good. My family stopped in on 3/16/23 a table of 4. Food and prices was alright, but the service was below average. Our waitress Terri had a horrible aditude! No smile, eye roll every time we asked her something or for something. She stood behind the counter an just stared at our table. That was uncomfortable. We was the only table in the restaurant at the time. Then before we left my sister asked for a refill to go and Terri told her she can purchase any size drink ftom the gas station starting at 1.29. I know I shouldn't expect much from the younger generation but it still bothers me. Waitress brought me my menu and started to walk off I stopped her and I'll take a Pepsi..she brought me a Pepsi. I ordered my food before she left because she seemed to not want to be here. Ordered my food and it was the last time I seen her until she brought the check. The cook had to bring my food out to me, and after 30 mins of sitting there I finally got up and refilled my own drink. ..NOT GOOD. I'm usually a 30% to 50% tipper but not this time it was 0% And the place was not busy, only one other table was...
