Dollar General — Local services in Bonduel

A decent Dollar General. I like it as it is a quick drive down the road from where I currently live. I have never had a bad experience here, but the staff seem to be a bit overextended, like the regular crew could use a helping hand once a week or every other week. The regular crew is great and are always busy stocking, answering customer questions, ready to help customers checkout, or any number of other retail work they may have. But either they are not fully staffed or they aren't allowed enough labor hours per shift/day/week to have more than couple employees scheduled at a time! What a joke. Stand up front to check out, waited 5 min with no one around. Finally someone comes up and is standing at other register, waited for them to do what ever they were doing, then asked if I should go over to that register. They were like no that's not my till. You have to press a small 1/4 button on some phone base to get someone else? Place is a joke and just getting worse. Might do better with a self checkout set up. I'll drive an extra 10...

This location has, surprisingly, a great variety and selection of items you would find at any Wal-Mart. I shop here mainly for the low prices and above average quality despite such low prices!
