I decided to stop at Braum's for the first time while passing through town to grab a quick milkshake for my daughter. Unfortunately, my first impression wasnāt exactly a sweet one.
The service was painfully slow. The girl making our milkshakes moved with all the speed and enthusiasm of a snail on vacation. She wasnāt the only one, thoughāit seemed like every employee in the place shared the same lackluster demeanor. No smiles, no urgency, just a collective vibe that screamed, āIād rather be anywhere else.ā After watching the painfully slow process, I actually turned to my daughter and said, āIf I were the boss, Iād fire everyone in the building.ā Thatās how bad it was.
It took a full 10 minutes to get two milkshakes, even though we were the only ones in line. When we finally got them, we couldnāt find a clean table to sit at. Every single one was covered in crumbs and sticky residue, like a failed cleaning convention had just rolled through.
The one amusing part of the visit was the weird photo background on the wall that looked like an opening to another room. We watched a little girl try to run through it, only to smack face-first into the wall. It was both hilarious and sad that this was the highlight of our visit.
If this is what Braum's is all about, Iām not sure Iāll be returning anytime soon. I was hoping for a quick, pleasant stop, not a slow-motion lesson in fast food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband went to BRAUM'S in Bonham, Tx. to get me a #4 with no tomatoes nor tomatoes products of any kind April 9, 2017. The guy didn't ring the order up correctly & now I'm having a BAD reaction!! It has spread from my mouth to all over in a matter of 5 to ten minutes. I'm praying that I don't have to go to the hospital but the way my whole body "head to feet" is responding to the food & my throat is trying to close up. I called Braum's & talked to a manger that didn't care that the order wasn't like it was supposed to be. She didn't care that my life has been jeopardized. She was talking over me. I asked her for her name at least 4 times & she didn't give it to me at those times she just kept right on talking over me. I had to yell at this lady to try to get her to stop. So, since I was NOT getting anywhere with her I asked for her supervisor/boss name. She told me her supervisor name right away along with she not here (very quickly!) Then I asked her name another two times & she finally told me a first name, but it was very suspicious. I told her I would be talking to her boss about the way she conducted herself. Oh by the way I forgot to mention on the first call she hung up in my face while I was attempting talking to her. Needless to say she didn't give a flying @$!#* about my health on either call because of their mistake. Rude & very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have always had a good experience at Braums when I travel. I was disappointed with the service at the store in Bonham. First, my food order took an unusually long time, but OK, maybe there was a problem Iām not aware of. Then, after my meal I thought I would order ice cream. There was a lady in line in front of me who had to wait a considerable time to place her order and the young man was painstakingly slow filling the order. I patiently waited but it was taking a long time. There were 7 people working behind the counter and not one made eye contact, acknowledged my presence, nor said, āIāll be with you shortly..ā. It felt like I was intentionally being ignored and after another 7 minutes I left. If the store had a major line or extremely busy I would have continued to wait my turn. The problem was the restaurant was mostly empty, the lady in front of me and myself were the only ones in line at the ice cream counter and drive through was steady but not overly so. Not sure what the issue was but it ruined my experience...
