UPDATE: Just had dinner at the new location and it was wonderful 👍. They have a beautiful and larger dining area, bar and patio for enjoying the delicious offerings of Naples Coastal Kitchen. We started with cocktails and enjoyed the Cubano (their version of a mojito). I enjoyed the Salmon dinner special with a delicious crab meat and lemon sauce topping, rice and a delicious side of sweet pecan roasted brussel sprouts. 😋 My dinner 🍽️ companion had the shrimp basket and we shared the delicious sunshine cake desert....so good. Gabby was our server and she was⭐ delightful and attentive and took great care of us. Be sure to ask for her station and tell her that you saw my recommendation for her in the review.😊 First visit, won't be the last 😋 We were so enjoying the food, conversation and service, totally forgot to take pictures. We enjoyed delicious meals of, Canadian walleye, clams and linguine, and Surf and turf, consisting of filet mignon and grilled shrimp. Side dishes of butter carrots, tater kegs, salad, smashed garlic potatoes and bread. So delicious and wonderful cocktails.🍸🍹 Only picture was dessert, a wonderful Florida sunshine cake. I promise to take pictures of entree's next time. A definite "don't miss"😊

After seeing tons of reviews on the Naples Facebook page about their summer menu, I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. They have about 15 “summer menu meal”, all for 19.95 with two side. Sides included choice of cole slaw, cooked baby carrots, mashed potatoes and one more I can’t remember. They have other menu options, but I love a good deal. I sat at the bar as they didn’t have any open table for one. Not an issue as I prefer the bar scene. I ordered the filet and shrimp. The filet was a 4oz and included 4 decent size shrimp. You have a choice of grilled, blackened or fried shrimp. I went with blackened and the house made seasoning was awesome. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were on point. This is definitely a must have for the summer menu, but a definite even with out it. Go check it out, you won’t be disappointed. I apologize for just including one pic, but restaurant was busy and don’t like including other patrons on my pics.

Must say that Naples Coastal Kitchen needs to give their Chef in the back a roaring raise for the excellency provided in the good works placed into every meal that came out the back of that kitchen because my goodness our food was beyond words of raving about and I’m a Chef also and know a compliment is needed with credit is due. It’s due! The last time I had a tasteful plate like this in South Florida took me way back to the Carolina’s tasteful cuisine at a restaurant I would not ever forget which is a Gullah Geechi soul food restaurant and look you all took the top on the plate I got and brought me right back home and back again with this one, plus the service was exquisite and will love to come back again just for another adventure of your delicious menu at the hands of your Chef and Hospitality in Staff. Thanks again

I must admit, we were enticed by the 19.95 Summer Specials…and were NOT disappointed. We both had the grouper…and it was a large (8oz) portion and included 2 sides (no salad…but we ordered a small side salad a la carte, and it was more than large enough for the two of us) This was the best price for a grouper dinner we’ve found in Naples…and it was excellent; well prepared, with delicious sides. The service from our server, Pam, was attentive and friendly and both she and one of the owners (recognized from a photo in the newspaper) frequently stopped by to see how we were doing.

We usually eat late, but we stopped by this evening at 5:00, (before our Trader Joe’s run) and chuckled when we were asked if we had reservations…as the dining area was nearly empty and the outdoor seating only had a few tables filled. We were soon eating crow, as the place filled up in just minutes.

After thoroughly enjoying our dinner, we understood why, and will make reservations when we return. The only negative note was the bread. We bake our own, and enjoy seeing what others do with theirs. The menu said “Bread on request” so we requested some. Two slices of bread (commercial wheat?) cut in half.

It actually would have been better if bread wasn’t offered. Maybe charge a few dollars and put bread on the table worthy of the food and service. I know we’re nitpicking….but if you love bread, as we do… you’re...

Party for two on a Saturday night. Nice location with plenty of parking. Nice upscale atmosphere with plenty of outside seating. Very nice menu with a great selection of both seafood and meat. Friendly but very slow and forgetful service tonight. Had to wait a while before anybody came by to offer us drinks. I got a Mai Tai which was super strong, which many people would probably like but I prefer a tasty one not overwhelmed by booze. The New England clam chowder was outstanding! Great with a little Tabasco and crackers. I love clam chowder and this may have been one of the best I've ever had. I had to ask for some extra crackers and a basket of bread which came far too late and long after I finished my soup. I ordered a seafood trio grilled that came with grouper shrimp and scallops. It was mostly fine but the scallops could have definitely been done better. Honestly nothing special. I got two sides included, very good Caribbean rice and absolutely excellent sweet potato fries for an upcharge. If you like sweet potato fries definitely get them here. Although I had a lot of good things to say about this restaurant the service contributed to the only three-star review and it's never a good thing when the sides are better than...

This is my second review for Naples Coastal Kitchen. Our first visit was abysmal, and this one was only marginally better, but only because this time, someone actually took our order (The first time we were here we waited for an hour and no one ever acknowledged us). However, we then waited 50 minutes for our entrees. Our server passed by once and said he would check on our food, which he did after another 10 minutes passed. When our food arrived, my order was wrong (not only wrong, but it contained shellfish, to which I’m allergic). I sent it back, and our server took it off the ticket and discounted my husband’s meal 20%, which is something. We simply couldn’t chance waiting another 50 minutes for a replacement entree, so I left hungry. It should be noted that my husband had ample time to finish his dinner in the time it took for our server to amend our ticket.

I was able to observe the pass and the kitchen the entire night, and I have to say the bad/extremely slow service falls squarely on the shoulders of the Executive Chef. Food sat on the pass for up to 15 minutes. We had high hopes that our first experience was a fluke, but sadly, it wasn’t. We will definitely NOT be returning. I will most certainly warn people away...
