My Husband and I have been frequenting Kava Culture for more than 3 years now and have recently grown increasingly disappointed with consistency and quality of the drinks we receive. We pay a premium for these teas and they have gotten more expensive and less potent as time has gone by. Fortunately, Kava bars in the area have become more accessible and there is now a market for a good product at a fair price. Kava Culture is missing the mark. When we go to other bars in the area, we pay half the price for twice the affect, and it is making less and less sense for us to frequent Kava Culture.
We are concerned with the level of cleanliness as well. The couches and rugs are never cleaned. Over the past 6 months the whole place has began to have a distinct and very unpleasant smell that hasnât been addressed. The toilet in the one and only bathroom is broken more than it isnât, and there doesnât seem to be any urgency to fix it.
Because of my Husband and Iâs relationship with the Kava tenders at this location, and our affinity for Kratom, I would love nothing more than to give this place 5 stars. We go into Kava at least 3 times a week and are always humbled by the warm welcome that we get from the employees weâve come to know very well. We see Becca, Austin, Autumn, Jak and Tyler regularly and they couldnât be more accommodating.
We love this place so much that we even had our wedding reception outside by the Koi Pond. Becca helped us execute this, and we could not have been more pleased with her role in our big day. She was a Rockstar.
The peaceful vibes are STRONG outside. We could sit out there for hours, and HAVE on many occasions. I go up there by myself to write when my husband is at work as it is a great place to zone out and get work done.
As a person who never leaves Google reviews, it breaks my heart to feel like this is even necessary. However, for the sake of the regulars and the employees I would encourage the management to revisit their original business model as it was the place so many of us fell...

The menu is outstanding and there is definitely something here for everyone. The manager and owners and staff truly care about this place and the well being of their customers.
If you're interested in trying out a kava bar for the first time, or are looking for a new home to settle into, this is the place.
ORIGINAL REVIEW I want to give this place 5 stars so bad, let's start with all the positives.
The kavatenders are amazing, incredibly helpful and friendly, the atmosphere here is so perfect, a great vibe and always great patrons around. The place attracts good people, great variety of cocktails and great snacks to choose from. The music is always top notch as well.
My wife and I have visited this location 5 times over the last few weeks, and the creation of the cocktails is very inconsistent. It has always depended on the kavatender, but the same drink will taste drastically different depending on who makes it. I love the Peanut Butter Cup and sometimes is made perfectly, and sometimes it's extremely watered down.
My biggest concern is that the potency of the Kratom used varies drastically (not good). Sometimes it is very potent (thumbs up), and sometimes it's as if there was none used at all. When charging a premium for these types of cocktails (which I am fine with the pricing) I would love to know that I am getting the exact same thing I paid for each purchase.
A typical visit for my wife and I is around $30-$35 (way cheaper than a night of boozing, and a much MUCH better environment) we would love to call this our new "bar" as we are working hard towards putting the bottle down permanently, but the inconsistency with recipes and kratom potency level is pretty much a...
Read moreI would like to start this review by stating that I am a frequent customer at a variety of Kava Culture locations. I typically have great experiences and look forward to the time I spend there.
Recently, I had multiple horrendous and uncomfortable experiences at the Kava Culture Bonita location due to a particular kavatender, Delaney. She was talking negatively about other kava bar locations in Florida. It made us feel uncomfortable and I felt hostile energy when she was serving my friend and I. I asked her for a cold brew coffee and the drink that was handed to me had a bug in it and the glass was dirty. She kept on rolling her eyes and making me feel bad for ordering a drink. When I went to pay, she started to shout at me that I needed to pay for both drinks even though I did not touch the first one due to it being unclean. She embarrassed me in front of other customers and it was extremely unprofessional. She was calling her trainee "good girl" and she was talking down to her. The lack of customer service was appalling. I am just disappointed and will be spending less time at this...
