I started my journey in Oceanside, Ca. I had a burrito that size of a small oak. I had loved Mexican food before this, but this made it a addictive disorder. I stay in California for 8 years in the military. I was always searching for the perfect Mexican restaurant. I met a woman who grew up in downton LA and introduce me to proper Mexican from Tiaquana to Belize. I hade green corn to males from El Cahounis (sic) froM May to August , to Super Mex the rest of the time. I had the best LA could offer and when I went below the border I had native food and loved it. So back to the currency of you ever asked what beans are used and they say blank bean, pull out. The on true Mexican is pinto beans (Taco Panco , swears) by it and I truly believe. I am a foodie for Mexican , so I know the difference. Taco Panchon, gets a A+ rating from me and I absolutely...

I got the chicken flautes. When the plate first came out, all I saw was cotija cheese. I realized that it was a huge cotija cheese and cabbage salad with salsa on top. Having to hide the flautes was an immediate red flag. After doing some digging, I finally found the flautes. They were over cooked, dry, and bland. The salad on top was the best thing on the plate, but wasn't meant to the star of the show... I got the beans and rice. They were also bland. The plate also came out with a huge comical bottle of salsa Verde. It was overly spicy. They had an unlabeled bottle of sauce on the table which I assume is their house made "hot sauce". It tasted like vinegar and the salsa Verde was spicier than that. I don't see myself going back. Maybe I should've gotten...

This place used to be a good place to get tacos from, now the quality of their food has dropped and their service. when I called to tell them that my take out order was wrong the lady argued with me and then decided she would comp Me 3 tacos for a $31order being wrong. The lady on the phone proceed to argue with me, she said that there was definitely cabbage in the burrito which you can see from the picture there is not and there's no way that they messed up the tacos which were supposed to be cilantro and onion only and you can see that they are not. On top of that the quality of the steak for the tacos was terrible it tasted like an old refrigerator. I understand mistakes happen but when they do step up to the plate and...

I really like their authentic Mexican food menu, they're not just tacos. On the weekends they have menudo and their kids meal is a happy meal style with a drink, churro and toy included. I was impressed with the amount of food and protein on my 7$ steak taco salad. its excellently priced and worth it. Everything had a good flavour not too seasoned either. Beer and Mexican sodas are available as well.

Pros: The woman taking our order was patient with us reading through the menu and kind; the guacamole was fresh and tasty; best horchata I've had; interior was cute. Cons: The chicken was overcooked and dry; the rice was inedible, hard enough that I couldn't chew parts of my chimichanga; the "lettuce" was 8 strands of shredded lettuce under a scoop of sour cream. I couldn't finish my meal.
