Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Boonville

Went to drive thru this morning. Asked if they had non pork breakfast options but they only have an egg and cheese option. Didnt get any breakfast item bc of that. Tried something new, the crembrulee latte. Drove up to the window, the lady gave me a paper to sign up for the app. Asked her when their busy time was, she told me before school drop-off times. I told her Starbucks is usually always busy. She told me I should go there then. I told her I'm in a hurry and don't have time to drive 30 min away for coffee. She had other things she could've said like, well we will try our best to make you a loyal customer or something. I also said that many people in this town makes their own coffee and they have been reluctant to allow coffee shops. She just gave me attitude. Then I started drinking my coffee on the way home and it tasted like throw up. I originally thought it was the whipped cream that was bad so when I got home I scooped it out. I could tell it wasn't fresh because it was flat and not fluffy like it should be. Then I tried the coffee again and it still tasted the same so it's possible it's the coconut milk that was bad or the flavoring was just nasty. Not sure but after this experience I will not be going back. Good luck scooters. My bet is 6 months in this town....

This location is always hit or miss. You rarely see the same employees more than once or twice now, so you never know if you're going to get a great coffee or just an ok one. You can ask for decaf, but more often than not, it's not. Same with extra flavoring or your milk choice. When they first opened, they were top notch, always got your order correct and went above and beyond. I had visited so often they knew my order as I pulled up to the order board. You don't get that kind of service...

The Boonville, MO location is the best. Staff is always quick and courteous. They also make sure to say "scoot on around" I mention this because I don't always hear that at other locations. Sometimes at the Columbia location(s), it is not said. It may be small, but I have come to expect it and really miss it if I don't hear it. The coffee is always good, hence the reason I keep...
