Taco Bell — Restaurant in Boonville

DO NOT eat here on a Friday if you get any shell or dessert they've fried. I ordered a #9 Mexican pizza meal. Tacos were fine. The pizza made me sick. I ate one bite, and a sample separately to see what the chemical taste was I was tasting. It was the shell. It was horrendous. It tasted like chemical. I called and she said they were made right before they are required to change the oil. I insisted she taste one. She did agree that there was a slight old oil taste. Honey, it was more than a slight taste. It has made my stomach upset, and I can't get the old nasty perfume like taste out of my mouth(it's been over 30 min). I'm waiting on a call from I guess the shift manager. Plus side, tacos were decent, tea too sweet(I had asked for 1/2 sweet 1/2 unsweet) but not McD sweet, the service was good and fast. The shift lead I talked to was pleasant. They need a new phone, it was hard to understand her. I give good reviews when deserved, likewise the bad ones. Corporate TB needs to change their oil changing protocol. It was way beyond time to change, probably been 2 weeks since it was done. If it's a supply thing go down to WalMart and get oil! I would rather be told that food is out than to get food I couldn't eat. It's not like I live right in town. I live 16 MILES away. The meal board did not have pricing on the combo's. I can't believe I can't get the nasty taste out of my mouth. Off to brush again. Hopefully, it gets resolved. REVISION THE store manager called me back. She said they had thrown the shells out after they fried them because they tasted like old oil. She said they missed the tray in the rack. She was pleasant and also apologetic. I most always give a 2nd chance. The next time I'm over there I will review again. She offered me...

I go here quite frequently for my husband. Several times lately they have left out things that I ordered and paid for, made the food wrong, or it is extra greasy/doesn't taste right. I would say that it is the oil, however we usually order burritos. The service is my biggest issue. They are always extremely slow. On several occasions I have pulled up and witnessed 5-7 people getting our a van parked behind the building and it does not appear that anybody is inside at that time. When they see me coming they start working on getting out and going back in. I'm told to wait often for several moments when the parking lot is absolutely dead and noone is seen inside sitting or at the counter ordering. Several times including today I went through and the staff was cursing and complaining about being busy/Having to work, etc and being rude and hateful in the background as they walk by staring directly at me. The service is awful. I've been nothing but kind to the workers and the ones that have reciprocated that, I appreciate you. However, some of them are literally hateful because they have to actually do their job. I am never difficult. I've only said something 1-2 times when they have messed my food up. I don't understand why they can not give back the respect that I give them. Customer service surely isn't...

I feel sorry for the people that work there. The past three times I have been there they have been understaffed and got my order wrong every single time. I'm writing this review now because last night I ordered 20 dollars worth of food but when I checked my bag there was only 5 dollars worth of food I didn't even order. I had just worked a 12 hour shift and had been away from home for almost 16 hours. There was no way I was driving back. The last time they got my order wrong I did go back, I went inside to have them fix my order but there was a line and every person in the line was there to have their order fixed. On top of that the manager was rude and short with me, not that I blame her though. And the food was room temperature and slimey. I doubt I will ever go there again. Just make sure you check your bag before you leave. McDonald's is right across the street and Dairy Queen...
