This is a place I've been going to forever! Us locals call it "Baums"!! They have the best Deli with Fresh Fried Chicken and potato wedges along with a large variety of good quality, fresh deli meats and cheeses! Their Meat section offers many varieties of cuts of beef, pork and chicken with 5 for $20 "bundles" that are very affordable. They offer many varieties of gourmet foods that you can't find at the discount stores! They have the best desserts that include whole pies! I am obsessed with the coconut cream pie! It's delicious!! Their prices are a bit higher then compared to Walmart, especially the produce which is the only thing I would not recommend to buy there due to the high prices. Also make sure to check expiration dates! That has been an issue a few times with finding expired SHELF items. I have been going here since I was just a wee one. My earliest memories of this place is it is always cold. They have an in house butcher, so the place is always cold, and the meat selection is spot on. The head butcher will even preseason some items so they're ready to take home and grill or cook without preparation. Friendly staff, you can ask to have your meat sliced to your liking if it's not already on the shelf for purchase. With it being family owned and operated, you get local employees, and being a small town you might just recognize someone you know. In town looking for something specific and was able to find exactly what I was looking for here at Save U More market. The isles were clean and organized. The prices were competitive and they had products that couldn’t even be found at the local Walmart. The management and staff clearly care about the presentation and atmosphere of this establishment. While I was there I noticed employees cleaning the floors and windows preparing for the next day. I have found, a good business is defined by the management and staff.
