Visited this restaurant again for lunch after over 10 months due to the bad experience we had last time. Spoiler, we will not be going back again. On a recent beautiful day, we asked to sit outside on the patio and were told that their outdoor seating area was not available. ?? There were minimal customers when we arrived for a slightly early lunch and we were clearly coming from work (which should mean - limited time). The three of us ordered the lunch specials that included a side salad. We received our drinks (waters) and sat for at least 20 mins with no interaction from anyone. When the waitress did come by finally, she asked if we wanted a complimentary shrimp cocktail, we of course said yes and a few minutes later we received these and then perhaps another 10 or so minutes later we received the salads. Then in 10 mins or so, our meal. One of our party asked for some hot sauce and a water refill. We had all drunk most if not all of our waters. She never came back by even though she waited on adjacent tables. We finally were able to flag her down and re-ask for the water and hot sauce. After a few minutes she came back with the hot sauce and one glass of water and headed off and we had to call her back and tell her that the rest of us were out of water. We were well past being there an hour and asked for our bills. When we received our bills, we had been there so long and were in such a hurry, handed our credit cards to her without looking at the bills. When she came back for the signature, we then noticed that all three of them were nearly double the lunch special pricing and we pointed this out to the waitress and she said she would check and adjust the billing. When she came back she apologized and provided us with a refund receipt for the incorrect bill as she had run our cards and then the same incorrect bill again and asked that we sign and then she apologized dashed away. We walked out at this point. As far as we know we were not charged.

The restaurant manager was was sitting at a nearby table nearly the entire time and facing our direction and talking to other staff?, and clearly saw that we were unhappy and never came by to provide any assistance or explanation.

It is a shame as the facility is terrific and the food was good, but as you can see from other's comments and our experience, they clearly do not know how to manage their staff and attend...

I have been out of town on business several months, just recently retured to Jimmy's!! I need to say just what is on my mind... I am very much aware that everything is going up in price so I'm willing to accept this fact!! As a person that will enjoy a nice meal, I don't mind paying for it. I will say this that I have disappointed my last several visits to Jimmy's..I am a big eater of the fish & chips dinner, the size of the fish planks have changed in size nearly a 1/3rd in size..the beverages have been reduced in size, from a tall tumbler to a med. size water glass..the food is has been great over the years, recently the fish, beside getting smaller the coating or batter on fish so thicker much less fish inside. It is a disappointment, I have orderd this for years, it inferior to past servings..The batter is so thick, the fish is dry and a fail on the menu....(my opinion only) My comments are just my opinion, but that is all that matters. I am a good customer, tipped and always pleasant to staff, but when a place I frequent for so long can arbitrarlly reduce portion sizes, & prices...changed brands or product because of price, have no explanation, I can express my views as well!! My average cost per visit was usually $50--$75 per Neal not including tips, for two people me & wife.. We feel if a business is reducing portion sizes, then price should stay the same..You should not not reduce and increase price at sam end time.. That is gouging the customers wallet..If Jimmy's does not care, then why should we be loyal to them.. My price for our meals have gone up on average $30+ including size of portions and quality of food product from Oct-Nov! So now I am paying over $115+ at the grill, for a meal that is getting smaller. I wanted to also mention that THE server was literally packing our take homes as we were still eating, a method many restaurants do when the want you gone to reseat others!! Overall, very unhappy about this situation, and will Now search for a different restaurant to dine at moving forward. We as a couple with kids grown eat out one - two times a week!! If I total this for the month at $125 per this is nearly $1000 per month, I can buy lobster and steaks for this 8+ Times a month and eat god food at home for less the the...

Soooo this is truly disappointing! Jimmy's was one v my favorite places to eat. The shrimp Alfredo was ALWAYS perfection, I enjoyed the scallop risotto w/mushroom and I don't even like mushroom. Whatever I ordered, the chef made delicious. We didn't mind spending over for two ppl bc everything was worth it. Unfortunately, Jimmy's is now B2 Bistro and if we are standing by first impressions, we won't be back. I purchased the seafood risotto minus the tomatoes (it didn't go, seemed like just a filler food) they had a blackened chicken Alfredo, not my shrimp or scallop and nothing else jumped off the menu trying to make my belly smile. The presentation was nice. It had to be about 15 mussels 5 shrimp and the lobster tail... turns out, only 9 shells had an actual mussel, I know this bc in order to eat the dish I had to empty out all v them to get to the rice. Why put empty shells on the dish. I've had better flavorful mussels before, the risotto was absolutely terrible. It tasted like chemical. I didn't eat it all, what little rice they gave, I did take home to recook and season myself the next day. It still had this weird taste. The peas were hard and nasty. Not sure where they sourced them from, but stop! Order another brand. The risotto had pearls v onion and as an onion lover, I thought this was great bc it would've added flavor, but they to were utterly disgusting. I bit into it and it was like a burst v water and asparagus (I hate asparagus) the flavors v this risotto tasted nothing like that v Jimmy's that I loved and enjoyed so much. Jimmy's risotto was creamy, cooked just right. Every bite was consistent, I would actually want to order another risotto to go. This seafood risotto was more like a yellow rice, paella but a very bad paella that someone who doesn't know how to cook and burned the sensors off the tip v their tongue. We order the calamari as usual and we immediately noticed we got a lot less than what we got from Jimmy's and it's more $. Even the clam chowder soup was nasty. How can you mess soup up. I'm not sure why this takeover is happening, but I don't pay for food that I've prepared better at home or had at other establishments. The only thing good there was...

Jimmy's American Grill is a spacious restaurant with a menu offering something for everyone, from seafood to sandwiches, steaks to quesadillas, and a large selection of alcoholic beverages. We arrived on a Friday evening around 9:15 p.m. and were seated promptly. For an appetizer, I ordered the slow-cooked chili with beef, poblanos, jalapenos and onions, and topped with a three cheese blend and sour cream. The chili was flavorful but not spicy, despite the peppers. One can order it with chicken or beef. I chose the latter, which proved to be a good choice. Kidney beans were also included. There were equal proportions of beans and beef, and every bite included cheese and peppers. Also served was the Protein “Brunch” Burger, consisting of Hatfield bacon, a fried eggs and American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions. The bun was very fresh, but large, which hid the burger and egg somewhat, making it difficult to navigate. Nevertheless, the burger was delicious. The seasoned fries were adequate, but the amount of ketchup wasn't. It was brought in a tiny cup when a bottle would've been more sufficient. The Chicken parmesan sandwich was delightful and hit all the right notes, with marinara, mozzarella cheese, and served on a toasted ciabatta roll. The chicken was very tender, the sauce tangy, and the bun fresh. There was a bar with several televisions broadcasting sporting events, and live music. The cavernous establishment made for a bit of a noisy venture. Overall, however, the experience was wonderful and worth making the trip. If you don't find what you want from Jimmy's American Grill's vast menu, you are probably in the mood for a PB&J or cereal.

Edited to add: I responded to the comment below via email and I never heard back. Iam so disappointed in this place. I’ve wanted to try it for so long and was so excited that one opened so close by. To start out our drinks were terribleeee. The worst margarita I’ve ever had. I am Not a complainer but it was so bad it had to be sent back and we ordered sangrias which were better but still… ehhh. Chicken wings and mozzarella sticks were our appetizers. Half of the chicken wings had a very strong, old taste to them. The other half were good. Mozzarella sticks were too greasy…how do you mess up mozzarella sticks? Burger was my meal/. It was okay but wasn’t cooked medium like I asked and the bun was super soggy. My kids chicken fingers were absolutely HORRID. They were slimy inside and stringy. I’ve never in my life seen anything like it. They seemed cooked but I wouldn’t let them eat it because it was disgusting. They had some of their dads pizza. This place charges ridiculous prices for below average food. We could have had a better meal at Applebees. Like I said, I’m not a complainer but I am so disappointed in this place I couldn’t walk away without giving a bad review.

If you’re looking for a dining experience that doubles as a test of your patience and will to live, Jimmy’s is the place for you! I came in hungry and left spiritually broken. First, the service. Our waitress must have been on a personal journey of self-discovery because she vanished the moment we sat down. By the time she returned, I had grown a full beard (I am not usually capable of growing facial hair). Then, the food. Oh, the food! After waiting what felt like multiple presidential administrations, my meal finally arrived. And by “meal,” I mean a microscopic portion that looked more like an artist’s interpretation of food than actual sustenance. I’ve seen more filling portions in tiny dollhouse kitchens. At this point, I was convinced Jimmy himself must be in the back cooking each dish grain by grain. Either that, or they were foraging for my ingredients in the wild. By the end, I strongly considered ordering another meal just to see if it would arrive in time for my retirement party. Instead, I left hungry, defeated, and questioning every decision that led me to this moment. Would I return? Only if I had a time machine and a death wish.
