Hot Food Counter — Restaurant in Bordentown Township

Petro food used to be decent in the way school cafeteria food is. Cheap garbage but it fills you up and doesn’t make you gag. Somewhere during Covid when businesses were all learning they could treat their customers like something they scraped off the bottom of their shoe and they would keep on coming because everyone else was doing the same things changed. In addition to changing their food counter hours to, shrug sometimes, and raising the price for an entree and two sides to what you would expect to pay for a decent meal at a diner they changed from school lunchroom level to Texas prison level suppliers. Today I am pretty sure they have downgraded again. For the first time in my life I had BAD Mac and cheese. How do you even mess that up? I’m pretty sure there was no real cheese involved. It had this horrible chemical aftertaste that made my brain scream “that’s not food!” Though the lady behind the counter looked like she wanted to murder the world so maybe that’s what arsenic tastes like. Joke’s on her cuz after most of a decade of trucking I feel so bad day to day that I doubt I’d even notice.

The lady her are so rude. Gave bad attitude. We parked in a pump that was out of service just to get food and she proceeds to come out and with Avery bad attitude said you can't park here we told her we just getting down to get food and she again with an attitude said yeah ok you can't park here. Then to top it off we get off to get food and the lady in the hot food area with an annoyed face just looks at us like yes didn't even say can I help you so we ask is there more rice and she rolls her eyes and said in a very low tone it's not done yet we couldn't even hear her so we ask excuse what was that and again in a low tone voice said it's not done yet but I was able to hear her a bit and also making faces like she dont like here job or just didn't wanna be there. man if y'all don't like you job why work here it's ridiculous us drivers work hard to come and be treated like that we drive for hours and can manage to be polite why can't they as soon as I said I would leave a review her tone change crazy huh today's date is may24 at 5:59 pm I will leave pictures of there names .. hope y'all can better y'all's...

Big thank you to Petro for the respect to the professional truck driver, because they know without truck drivers the economy goes to zero and people will starve. The extreme generosity of Petro on placing a $25 parking fee if you don’t spend $25 or more at there location, and a nice photo of a breakfast plate served at the fuel island by a lazy employee and charged me $7 dollars just for a spoon full of egg, 3 pieces of bacon and a biscuit then thrown in the plate like if it where for a dog.
