The Wok Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Bossier City

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. My family hates Chinese but I had them talked into trying this place since the reviews were so good. I couldn't have been more disappointed and proved them right that Chinese is nasty. This experience ruined my ability to eat Chinese around my family. I ordered online and the prices were pretty high but willing to pay for good food since the reviews raved. I waited 20 minutes with my family in the car. Not the best idea in that area btw. The menu prices at the restaurant were far different from online menu prices. I could have ordered at the restaurant or by phone and paid $26 instead of the $43 I paid. When I got my food home, I was missing soup, Rangoon, and springrolls that I paid extra for. Way extra since I ordered off the increased price menu. The sesame chicken was so tough and overcooked we couldn't eat it. The lomein smelled and tasted like chemicals. I couldn't tell if it was the noodles or the absorbed smell from the Styrofoam. Needless to say, all this food went right in the garbage. Will update if anyone from the restaurant reaches out to try to make this right. I do DoorDash in my spare time to make a few extra dollars, and during one of my deliveries, I picked up an order from this spot. I told myself I’d come back and try it, and I’m so glad I did!

The wait was about 10 minutes, but it was well worth it since my food was cooked fresh. The customer service was outstanding—one of the best experiences I’ve had. The guy who took my order was friendly, patient, and kept me updated on when my food would be ready.
