La Mexicana Antojitos — Restaurant in Bossier City

I came here craving pineapple and mango with chamoy and Tajín, but this place was a complete disappointment. I asked for fresas with just pineapple and Tajín and pointed to the large cup of long mango slices in their fridge. Instead, they brought me a tiny cup of chopped-up pineapple and mango that wasn’t even close to what I ordered—definitely not worth the $11 I paid.

On top of that, the mango was old and mushy, not fresh at all. And to make things worse, they didn’t even add the Tajín or chamoy—I had to do it myself. When I called them out on the portion size not matching what they showed, they threw a fit and still only gave me half of what I should’ve gotten.

This place is a rip-off, the fruit isn’t fresh, and the customer service is awful. You’re better off making it at home for a fraction of the price. I will never be...

The staff was very helpful with suggestions! The store carried various food and drinks, but the ice cream was the star. We tried the Oreo and Manny flavors, but I settled on a Ferrera Rocher shake while my wife had strawberries and whipped cream. Pricing seems crazy. I got an ice cream cone and a pickle for 12.75.

My son’s school is nearby and he always wants to go here for a treat when he does a great job at school, but it is so expensive for me to get three ice cream cones for small kids.
