Pretty good neighborhood Italian restaurant in West Roxbury in close proximity to Catholic Memorial school. Pizza was well cooked and very doughy. Not exactly a thin pie but not deep dish either. Good amount of sausage for the price of the pie. Garlic bread was well seasoned and left us wanting more. Place was pretty empty at about 4pm but that’s to be expected. Parking is available on the premises

I like all the employees on the take outside they are very nice to me. I have known them for many years. Today I went in and asked for two slices of pepperoni with sauteed mushrooms and onions. They put a heaping amount of onions and mushrooms on the grill and after they put them on the pizza they put it in the oven for a few minutes and it came out very nice.

Poor treatment and bad food and overpriced. I received the same sized bowl of pasta for dinner that I got for lunch the week before. I paid more for it, though. My friend's fisherman's platter looked like the end of meal garbage scraped onto a plate. The meat sauce was delicious, though.

My husband was taken to VA w roxbury (been unresponsive for houra..was starving and needed something quick. Googled and aaw a pic of Tonys Pizza and i said this pizza looks good so id give it a try. Usually all pizza is eatable riggt? and after today i didnt care. I quickly picked it up as it was litterally around the block from VA. I walked in and 3 guys greeted me with a smile. I saw Parma procuito in the front case and i immedially perked up. Coming from an Italian all i can sat os this placr js definiyely real Italian. I Asked for hot pepper and a drink from thr case paid and was on my way. Took the pizsa to my car and opened the box. I smelled fresh basil and i could have started eating but i had to get back. The crust looked so damn good. Tasted Wood fired..maybe it was maybe it wasnt but the cruat tasted and fekt wood fired ..the cheese had perfect amount of salt and the sauce had a homade taste. Honestly prob one of the best pizzas ive had in a long long long time. Wish i lived closer...but i definitely know where im going the next time my husband gives me a scare. Incredible Pizza. Thank you fot a nice surprise on what is prpb one of my worst days ive had this yeat. Just delicious. (Sorry i didnt take a picture. It was too good to stop eating) for all u locals in W Roxbury consider yourseleves lucky to have this place as a go to pizza...

Outrageously Overpriced Takeout. This was once our go-to takeout until they raised their prices obscenely as well as adding fees for ordering online. We probably ordered at least once a week until I noticed that on top of the 4$ delivery charge (expected,) we are now also being charged a 2$ online ordering fee as if Tony's was now using a 3rd party delivery service (same guy as usual.) One of our classic orders was chicken parm with a side of garlic bread. In October of 2023, the garlic bread cost 4.09 with the 21.99$ entree. Mind you, the garlic bread is a simply sub roll slathered in butter and garlic. It's not a specialty baked bread. In December of 2023, that garlic sub roll costs over 7 dollars. Highway robbery. Elio has gotten too big for his britches and we're not paying for new ones.

So because of the price increases, we will no longer be regular or even infrequent patrons of Tony's and it's also why I can't recommend the place. The food just doesn't justify the...

Sat at the bar; bartender was curt and not attentive, and when he delivered my meal to the counter, he "tossed" it on the counter in front of me and I was almost drenched by a hot plate of food. I caught it myself and he said nothing. He also upcharged 50 cents for pasta without telling me and this practice was not listed on the menu. He also incorrectly charged me for side salad (4.49 versus 3.29 side with meal). Mind you, the full price salad listed on menu was 4.79. I was charged 5.49 for soggy vegetables drenched in oil. This charge was not listed on menu either. Spoke to the manager and he tried to justify the incorrect charges and mentioned something about the computers listing wrong prices. The bottom line is that these are poor business practices- the menu prices SHOULD match the bill, and all extra charges SHOULD be on menu. I have seen other reviews mentioning this dishonest practice- perhaps the Attorney General would most be...
