Update: The same crew who had shut down the grill early last time head true this time and was very helpful tonight. My whole team at work has been coming in here after recommending the quality of the food. I'm happy they corrected the grill closure so those of us living the graveyard life have a place to get some great food.
Occurred on the July 29th, 9:15ish pm
This location apparently cleans and turns their grill off at least 45 minutes before closing so they are willing to lose a $60+ order for the day and future business because they don't close when their listed hours actually state.
The only reason this wasn't pre ordered on the app is because they run promotions in store which I didn't get last week and they told me to come in store to order next time, which is the exact same time I picked up my last order.
I work down the road on 12 hour Graveyards and many of us just recently discovered this location. However we can't typically leave for lunch till after 9:00PM. This would have become a regular location for our shift as they make great food, but they shouldn't be shutting down systems before they are closed. When I worked retail and food service if we pre cleaned or pre counted a register before close, we ran the risk of having to do it again if a customer came in. Not once was I ever allowed to straight out turn a paying customer away because I wanted to leave faster.
What a waste of time, if you're going to quit offering specific services, list that in your hours so you don't have someone drive all the way here to end up irritated and...
Read moreFeb.2025 update - At this point I'm unsure if the fault lies with the owner and managers or the sub par staff - rudeness, unpreparedness, and no accountability seem to be a big part of the culture here. I ordered two subs online (and tipped), and was told to get there at 6:57pm. I show up at 6:57pm and they ask my name, I see the bag with my name on it empty. They start appearing to make my sandwich, I sit down for 7 minutes only for them to tell me they can't make my sandwiches. I ask why - THEY ARE OUT OF BREAD. You can't make this stuff up, I wish they would have called me before I showed up. Very on brand for this place. I really want to love this spot as the food is good and it's close to home but I don't think I'll be back.
Drive a bit further and go to Tubs in downtown Bothell.
Feel free to stand around and not be acknowledged. Food is good, but service is so slow and inattentive that you'll be conflicted between - "should I tip in hopes that I'll get taken care of sooner?", or "should I not tip and hope they don't dock me and take longer to make a sub I ordered online?". Stand around with everyone else wondering who's going to get called up first. Top tier. 🙄
Ordered my sub a online to be ready by 7:48, didn't leave until 8:15. Unfortunately, on brand for Jersey Mike's. I don't want to say it's overrated but not sure it's...
Read moreHad the worst experience at this jersey mikes trying to use a coupon I used all October 2023. Marge or Margie or something... was extremely rude and refused to honor a coupon given 100ft away at the nearby grocery store. We have used this coupon many times this month and had no issues.
Not sure why she felt so strongly to refuse and make a big deal out of it but it was very strange behavior. Other staff in the store have always been friendly and helpful. They appeared scared of her and backed her up even though they too have helped us with no issues in the past. Like... It's a coupon. It was so ridiculous it was almost funny. But really just irritating.
It's a simple 5 digit code on the back of every single grocery receipt but she refused to honor it on the last day for what was really no good reason (10/31/23) It was just horrible customer service plain and simple. Could have been another simple transaction and we all moved on with our lives. Watch out for the self proclaimed management here, they are grumpy and...
