The Mighty Colorado Burger — Restaurant in Boulder

I've been in a year long search for the Fried chicken sando of my dreams. It's been a long year of disappointed and near wins, until today...The search is over

The Mighty fried chicken sandwich is the best fried chicken sandwich in existence. The "Cronch" is perfect and often what makes a good chicken sando fall short. The crunchy to chicken ratio is exactly 60/40. It's not a massive chunk of chicken with a thin puny crunchy layer. It's crunchy then chicken then crunchy again ,right before you start getting bored with the chicken.

The fried chicken batter is a light golden brown and not oily. Which means the Mighty change their oil and care about their food quality.

The staff was very friendly, and the food came out fast and hot. Honestly, they could spit my eye and call me names. I'd still come if they are producing chicken Sando like they are.

Sadly for me,they are in Boulder Colorado. Which is a long trip. Next time I'm out here 💯 I'm stopping...

The food was mostly good, but the online ordering system for pick-up orders needs work. A couple things to be wary of:

1. There's no section to give notes. I'm currently pregnant and can't have undercooked meat--something I would've noted given the chance. My burger was pretty pink, which I normally don't mind, but it can be dangerous during pregnancy.
2. There's no phone number to call for the order (to ask about doneness).
3. I ordered a side salad instead of fries but was given fries. Maybe the Boulder location doesn't have salads, but, if that's the case, it shouldn't be on their online ordering system. This was an upcharge.
4. We ordered cheese curds for my husband (another upcharge), and he got fries.

If you want to get what you order and not pay for extras you don't get, I'd recommend...

AMAZING! Take it for what it's worth, but with Five Guys being my Gold Standard, the Mighty Colorado Burger is arguably as good, if not better- certainly a better bang for the buck and equally (if not more) delicious. Seems like they've really paid attention to quality details, which I notice most in the bun as it didn't seem like a stale afterthought, but was a grilled, soft pillow of perfection, holding gently the juicy grass-fed patty of palate pleasure. Anyways, my toddlers gave it a 10/10, judging from their post-meal grimy/grubby faces and fingers. The brewery was super cool looking too. Next time, no kids, yes drinks.
