Cheers Sports Bar — Restaurant in Bound Brook

I hope you guys are happy with loosing frequent customers over $50 that you decided to rob out of their pocket because you assumed they were too drunk to notice.

My friend is a frequent visitor at Cheers. She even knows the owner. We came here on Saturday and ordered 1 special. A special is 1 beer bucket of 5 beers and a small bottle of liquor ($50). When we were finished with the first, the waitresses asked if we wanted another special. She proceeds to explain that the bottle is included with the $50 special. My friend accepted a second special. The waitress leaves, and drops off the special. She never cleaned our table of the bucket special we ordered previously. So on my table there were two specials. We ordered 3 waters, nothing was ordered after the waters. When we received the bill, the waitress charged us for 2 specials and 2 additional buckets (apart from the specials). My friends and I questioned it (mind you I work in accounts payable), and they still payed. We decided to speak to the owner on another day (we took photos of the bill). My friends called the business, was told to speak to the owner. She stopped by only to be told that the owner to this business was not on...

Ordered close to $100 worth of food online over an hour before they closed for pickup and when we arrive(all 21+) the bouncer/security guard starts asking us to show ID and I complied even though it seemed so useless as I had no plans to drink anything at all. He then tells me the kitchen is closed to which I reply I already ordered online a long time ago I think the food is probably ready by now. He goes through the kitchen doors after having walked all over the restaurant and OUTSIDE and touched so many peoples ID’s, hands,doors and everything else WITH NO MASK and come back with nothing but “yeah like I said the kitchen is closed” and almost pushes me out the door blocking my path as if I was trying to get past him or something. Update below: The dj on Thursday is better than Saturday, oh and their Ac is on vacation because it's 90 and I only feel fans. UPDATE: very disappointed in today's experience on 9/4 at about 1 in the afternoon I walked in to grab a shot with my sister from Florida. I was just raving about how we (my husband and I) love it here, we come all the time it's only 10 minutes from home and prices are great. Today the bartender charged us 20 bucks for 2 shots of Malibu. We were going to walk out but we drank them. Next time the bartender sees an out of state license she shouldn't try to charge the price of a bottle for a shot in the middle of the day.
