Thank goodness this trail is preserved and taken care of. Bc when it rains, trees are downed on the path, water flooding from canal to river, and other bad natural weather disasters. It is a beautiful trail that spans for miles. Great for a day walk from a lock to a lock (water locks that control the flow of water), beautiful wild life and great environment and atmosphere on a sunny day. Walking, biking, and horseback riding is acceptable. Its a carry in and carry out trash. Read moreMy man and I love it here. We live close by so we are out here a lot. Very nice long tow trail/path to walk through, but the best is the Raritan River. It’s fun to take a dip in when it’s hot. We also go tubing on the river as well....
