Panda Express — Restaurant in Bountiful

I personally had the worst experience at this panda location. Now I bet not all the staff is this rude but I want to express how I felt and how I was treated at the Panda Express in Bountiful UT 84010. I love pandas food. It is savoring filling and in my opinion delicious. But after the encounter I had today I probably will not eat at panda again. I was ordering my typical meal the plate with fried rice, sweet fire chicken and orange chicken. Now I was helped by a women whom seemed frustrated or not happy to be at work. But like always I smile at everyone and I am always polite. As I was ordering my sweet fire chicken I asked her very politely if she could try her best to get more chicken than pineapple or peppers on my plate and this was her reply.. “NO I WILL NOT PICK OUT THESE FOR YOU.” In a very stern manner. Now when I have gone to other locations they always say I can’t promise to get all of them out but I will try my best. But just getting a very RUDE NO like that was she’ll shocking to me. And what happend to the doing everything for your paying customers. I never asked her to pick out my food but just to do her best to get more chicken. After I submit this review I will be calling in a complaint as well because I just could not believe this happened. I don’t wish her to be fired but I hope that she will see this review and learn from it that you need to put your customers first and not yourself. Hopefully this will be a good training tool for you employee at Panda in Bountiful. And I thank you for your hard work but I’m very upset for how you treated me and because of that I will not be going to your location and again and I’ll make sure others...

Apparently sweet and sour sauce is a rare and expensive commodity in Bountiful. They give you one, maybe two packets for an order of egg rolls. Every time I have ever asked for more they will give one more. They don’t have it available to select on the app, like they do with soy sauce or chili sauce. Other stores have it available on the app too select under “additional requests” but this store has specifically taken it off. Why? In order to request more when ordering from this store on the website you have to type it in as a special request and even then they will only add one or two extra. But last night they still didn’t give me any after I asked please. I realize it’s just sweet and sour sauce and I’ve shrugged it off for the past year or so and have just bought a bottle at the grocery store. But it’s consistently been the case for the past year and after last night I’m just done. I’m going to start going to Farmington. If you look on the app, Farmington store has S&S sauce present to select as an additional request when ordering, you don’t have to type it in, and they will actually give you a decent amount. Also, if you forgot to request it through the app and ask directly they will give you a handful (like every other fast food place that’s ever existed!) It must cost a fortune to transport S&S sauce...

Wow, has the quality of food at the Bountiful location gone downhill!!!

The last two times we've gotten our dinner there (take out) we've been incredibly disappointed and down-right grossed out.

We go there because we like the fresh, steamed veggies. However, last time I found a 4-inch black hair in my veggies, sitting in the bottom of my container. I nearly threw up!!! It was months before I dared go back.

This time the carrots were black and moldy. Definitely unacceptable!

And the Orange Chicken we used to love has really gone downhill, too. They've changed the recipe somehow--the quality of the meat and the way it's cooked have definitely changed for the worse--nothing like it used to be. The quality of their beef has always been questionable.

I intend to print a copy of this review and drop it off at the Bountiful Panda Express. They need to know they aren't fooling anyone with their lack of quality and poor hygiene. I'm also sending a copy to the main company in California.

Your money and time are better spent cooking at home. At least you'll know it's fresh and...
