I was shocked to witness in full view what I saw last 10 minutes before departing at 2:58 pm while still eating in the restaurant. I was the last lunch patron dining today Thursday 14th Sept 2023. A young male adult sat at the booth at the west corner glass front window, then proceeded to move and lay down on the full wall length couch type seating of two tables, picked up the pillows that were positioned at that wall and placed them over him plus he was still wearing his shoes (what difference does the shoes make you might ask? Whether dressed in the clothes he entered in and or wearing shoes, it is a restaurant and this took place in full view of a customer dining. It is NOT a bedroom. He could have behind the partitions in front of the bathroom placed a fold up cot if he wanted to sleep AFTER customers left until the restaurant opened again for evening dining. Also he was in full view of passing patrons and this is not impressive to see in a restaurant). I chuckled to myself at what I witnessed as I was seated at my table that direction to see this occur and when I was at the front register paying, I shared with the beautiful and most pleasant mature young lady, " it was not restaurant etiquette for the gentleman to lay down on the seating when a customer is still dining ". I was aware from her ' oh ' response she was not able to see him laying there under the pillows pilled up on top of him. In the future and full alert to everyone. My future purchases will be either as to go orders or not at all. This was a big turn-off relevant to restaurant etiquette and hygiene levels (as the question is now - did the seating get wiped down after he used the area, were the cushions sanitized after his use, was he near before he came to work an animal that had it's hair on his clothing to create allergies for customers and this being spread via the cushions or being next to the table cloth where he lay?) Since the restaurant opened I have been a customer of dine in and to go orders. I have enjoyed the atmosphere of past dining and the food is delicious (except sometimes the music has not been peaceful restaurant appropriate for dining). Today my evaluation has changed due to what I witnessed. Yes in the Hospitality Arena this IS...
Read moreVisited for the first & last time on Saturday. This place is very unorganized. Arrived at 6:00 PM Ordered 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. After about 15 minutes got one appetizer, the second one about another 15 minutes later. Noticed three tables that were seated after us were getting their meals, finished eating and left while we still had no entrees. Noticed the table seated at the same time right before us had two guests and after a half hour of their waiting only one was served, the other poor kid had to wait and was joking he must have ordered a “wish dinner”. We had tickets to an event and finally after waiting for 50 minutes with no waiter checking on us, we went to the hostess and told her we needed to leave and wanted to pay for our appetizers. Just then the waitress rolled out a cart with the entrees, one for the poor kid next to us and two of ours. I told her we could have them boxed for take-out and then was told our third entree was not even ready. We were done, told them to ring up the appetizers because we were out of time. The waitress brought out the hand held card reader and after it reads the card it displays a screen for different tip options. As we went for the “No Tip” option, she pulled back on the machine and told us we HAD to tip. Seriously, we told her we tip based on service and didn’t have to tip on our bad experience. She did not like that and I kid you not it literally took FIVE times of trying to press No Tip before we could catch it on the machine as she pulled back each time and said each time we HAD to tip. Geez… then when I asked for the receipt she put both hands up to my face and said “10 minutes!” and walked away. The hostess was very gracious and got me one right away. No food is worth that...
Read moreTRied to eat there last night! They had no idea who was there to eat in or eat out...so some take out orders just sat there. We put our name in when someone finally came but it wasn't monitored and we had to remind them that we were next. One lady said she had been trying to pay her bill for over 20 minutes. When we were finally seated we quickly ordered. We had my drink and spring rolls pushed at us and that was the last we saw any service for over an hour!. People were getting up and filling there own water glasses as no one was coming to check on them. In over an hour we only saw one table get reserved water. We could not get any ones attention. Finally on man cam by and we nabbed him. It had been over an hour and everyone else who had come in after us had eaten, finished and were trying to pay their bill.when we explained that our food had not come in over an hour he went and found our waitress who was sorry and wanted us to confirm our orders! I said well let's be honest here, it was never put in, was it and you now have no idea which order was ours...correct?? She said yes and was sorry. I was starving and said let's just pay and go. I couldn't wait any longer. They actually had the gall to allow us to pay for our drink and spring rolls. Not a great way to run a business on do many levels. This was our second time there and it was only a bit better. But at last time...
