Culver’s — Restaurant in Bourbonnais

Culver's is a prominent Wisconsin brand, and we are happy to see them spreading into neighboring Illinois state with multiple locations along highways. We stopped by the Bourbonnais locations and ordered quite a bit of food for the four of us. We ordered sandwiches, soup, mashed potatoes, onion rings, and curds. Tia, our cashier, was quite helpful, and she managed to make a few of these into meals and saved us at least $5. While waiting for the food to be prepared, we used the toilet, and they were amazingly clean and well maintained.

The new walleye sandwich is just as good as the Cod and the Wisconsin cheese curds, onion rings, and all got eaten within minutes. The kids also enjoyed their shakes, and everyone was very happy and satisfied. The restaurant was not too crowded with dine in customers and there are a lot of seats available for all size families. Also proud of the senior citizens who works there to clean-up. Always amazing to see them contributing to the economy and helping out at their age. It's always a good experience dining...

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff members. My mom placed her order and the process went smoothly. Then I ordered a single burger basket. The girl at the counter asked if I wanted cheese. No. Would you like a basket? (Already said I did, but) Yes. Would you like a single or a double? (Said that, too.) Yes. Then she asked what I wanted on it. I told her pickles and lettuce. When the burger came to the table, there were only 2 pickle slices on it. I would think that since I didn't want all of the other toppings, they might actually top the sandwich with pickles. (At least 4 or 5 slices, to cover the patty.) The amount of shredded lettuce... no kidding... fit under one of the pickle slices. The sandwich tasted good but I was surprised at the stinginess of the toppings. I ordered a chili and cream of broccoli soups had never ordered this before from this place and they gave me some what tasted like 5 DAY OLD CHILI I was so disappointed so I bring it back and and wanted my money cause that cup never should have left the building let alone the kitchen..... I was told that we can give you another one we just made some fresh chili I said no I want my money, well the young man in charge told me I will return your full order and just charge you for the soup ???? How about not charging my at all cause I made it across town before I had to drive that cup of crap back to them and now I look at my account and I see both charge of withdrawal but no return of my money.
