I called this place to order myself lunch while at work, The Italian sausage marinara pasta bowl. I added extra toppings, sauce and cheese. The order went through just fine. The recording or machine repeated back everything that I had in my bowl told me my price and I paid with my card. My food from Domino's at this bourbonnais location arrived and upon opening my food, the pasta bowl had none of the extra toppings that I had requested on the phone with my order. It only had the sausage and cheese, as I stated before I ordered the bowl with EXTRA toppings, such as extra cheese and extra sauce with pepperoni and chicken added to the bowl. None of this was in my bowl as I ordered on the phone. I promptly called the number back and asked to speak with a manager, the manager was polite, took my order again and remade the pasta bowl and said that it is going in the oven, he said It should arrive in about 30 minutes. About 25 minutes had went past and I receive a call from the delivery driver whom was very short and rude with me. The delivery driver asked me where would I like for him to leave my food, and I told him that he can please leave it at the location where they always leave food, he stated that he was confused because he just came and brought an order there already (CSL BEHRING) and I explained to him that the order was wrong, he said well "It doesn't matter anyway now" and hung up. I went to get my food. It looked like it had been tampered with it did not look like it was tightly sealed as the one before or any other time that I order from there which is not often. Upon opening the pasta bowl it was DRY WITH NO SAUCE AND BARELY ANY CHEESE and now I was confused because I specifically told the manager what I wanted and he repeated it back to me several times. It was almost like they intentionally made it wrong just to be jerks, so I did not trust it and I didn't eat it. That delivery driver probably should find a different job or profession because you must not work in food service and have an attitude when you're dealing with food, and the person or manager who supposedly had fixed the order did not. I will not be ordering from the Domino's in bourbonnais off John Casey road again and I wouldn't recommend anybody else...
Read moreTerrible service today. Ordered online and came early to pick up at the store. Sat in parking lot until the app notified me the pizza was ready. Immediately went into the store and waited - 4 different employees looked at me but did not ask to help me. After several minutes someone finally asked to help me. I gave them my name and he called someone else from the back of the store to come help me. A young man came up front, I gave him my name, he looked at the pizzas in the shelf behind him and then looked in the warming case and didn’t find my pizza - he disappeared to the back of the store and never came back. After several more minutes of waiting at the front counter a young woman asked if I had been helped and I gave her my name again and showed her the app on my phone that said my order was completed. She looked all over again and did not find my pizza, she then started looking through all of the receipts looking for my order. She started opening pizza boxes in the shelf behind her and found a box on the top shelf - that was not even closed. She handed me the box and said it was my pizza. I took the pizza and put it in my front passenger seat and wrapped it in a beach towel for the very short 3 mile drive home. The pizza was barely like warm by the time I got home and had to microwave it before I could eat it. This is the absolute WORST experience I have ever had getting pizza. UPDATE: On September 15th, I received a voicemail message from the Domino’s. Here is a transcript: Hello , my name is Tyler from the Domino's in Bourbonnais recently you put in a customer care case here About your terrible Customer service that you had either yesterday or the day before I sincerely apologize about what happened Please leave me Please call me back And hopefully we can OK, sorry about that. Please go ahead and call me back and hopefully we can give you a certificate or something like that for your terrible customer experience. I think you have a good day…” Well, I called the Domino’s store back 3 different times and was never able to speak with Tyler. Read more::UPDATE:: Never received our coupons and when I went to call and ask about them there was "nothing they could do". Seemed to good to be true and it was.
::UPDATE:: So to my surprise. The actual owner of dominoes contacted me and apologized profusely about what happened to us and in turn is making an effort to fix it. We'll be receiving a couple gift certificates sometime this week. It's awesome to see an owner actually care about customer satisfaction. Not many places seem to care that much. Took almost an hour and we still didn't recieve our order. Called to see what the issue was because we were told it would only take 15-20 minutes and Manager Jacob proceeded to say that he doesn't see the internet telling us it would have been that short then he changed his story and said he doesn't understand why the internet wasn't keeping up with their orders. No discount for the inconvenience or even a sincere apology. Wish i could post the screenshot of it saying 15-20 on here just to prove we weren't lying.
