The Sagamore Inn, Sandwich, MA Such a cute place with lovely outdoor dining area. Mollie got a burger (6/10), and Chris got Calamari and marinara sauce (7/10). The restaurant was super cute with 6/10 service.

We cannot recommend The Sagamore highly enough for your next event or wedding. My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding there over Labor Day weekend, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, we had the pleasure of working with Cathryn, one the venue’s event specialist. She is exceptionally organized, professional, and kind—guiding us through every detail with patience and care. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to plan our entire ceremony and reception in less than seven months, all while feeling supported and at ease throughout the process. When we first toured The Sagamore, we were immediately captivated by the breathtaking setting—the elegant Sperry tent decorated with sparkling string lights, the beautifully manicured lawns with vibrant florals, and the inviting outdoor spaces, including the outdoor bar and the cozy gas fireplace. Cathryn was instrumental in helping us customize our reception to reflect both our vision and budget. She walked us through each meal and bar option, and explained every detail. The culinary team also deserves special recognition—the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still raving about both the dishes and the outstanding service from the staff. We chose two plated entrées, three passed hors d’oeuvres, and a stationary raw bar, which was a highlight of the evening. On the wedding day, the bridal suite was the perfect setting for getting ready. Spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, it provided plenty of natural light for photos, ample mirror space, and a comfortable setup for hair and makeup. Throughout the celebration, Cathryn coordinated seamlessly with our vendors and ensured the entire event flowed according to our timeline. Thanks to her attentiveness, we were able to truly enjoy our evening without stress. We are so grateful to Cathryn and the entire Sagamore team for their professionalism, dedication, and hospitality. Choosing The Sagamore as our venue was one of the best decisions we made, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a wedding destination that combines stunning beauty with impeccable service.

Delicious!!! We went on a whim and we loved it! We got the hot buttered lobster roll (had drawn butter for dipping-weird it came in a plastic ramekin, maybe those work better for this dish if you want to pour a little on the roll instead of dipping the great assortment of claw and leg meat) and it came with perfectly fried homemade potato chips and we got the soup/sandwich combo of the half grilled chicken sandwich on wheat which was the perfect size, the cup of southwest chicken soup was hot, had a great mix of white and dark chicken and mixed vegetable medley of classic mirepoix with corn and rich chicken stock, plate also came with homemade potato chips (a bit brown, but still delish). Huge serving of chips we couldn’t finish! For dessert we split a generous slice of limoncello cake that was so light and decadent! The interior is charming with antique tin ceiling, wood booths and nice restaurant plates and utensils - a nice upscale touch. Our server was pleasant and service was fast! They have full bar with cozy seating on nice wood high boy chairs. The drink menu looked great but we were driving after, so we just had Pepsi and hot tea (Lipton). Total tab was reasonable for the cape and totally worth it!! We will be back! Website says they do online orders for pick up - will try that too-get lunch to eat at canal nearby. Absolute gem!!

My review is an email I sent to someone who was asking about my experience at The Sagamore Inn. I HIGHLY recommend them! Nicole, the coordinator there is absolutely amazing! She helped us every step of the way! A week before our wedding I asked her about our centerpieces and come to find out they don’t allow candles with flames and glitter and she let me go over there while they were setting up for another party and let me use a table to play around with my centerpieces and she did everything she could to help me out. The day of, she, our DJ, and our photographer, all worked together to make sure we knew what we were doing and what was going to happen next. She asked us before our big day what kind of guidance we wanted and we said we need help every step of the way and she went above and beyond.

They were the most affordable venue we could find (the only place we actually went to and saw in person and we fell in love immediately). My sister Kayla got married in Dennis at the Borsari Gallery and she only had one 5-minute phone call with their coordinator. She saw how much Nicole had helped us out (I saw her quite a few times before our big day) and my sister even came with me once and she told me that she wished she and her coordinator worked together like Nicole and I did. I seriously could go on and on about them, our day could not have gone better 😃 The food is also fantastic, we did the BBQ buffet and have no regrets, we also did an open bar (a lot cheaper than paying per head for the alcohol) you can ask for a consumption bar if that’s something you were looking for.

Nicole tells you from day one that if there is something you want they will do everything they can to make it work (even though they don’t allow glitter she was going to let me use my original idea of the centerpieces without the flames of course to make them work but I was able to find a way around my idea and it ended up being perfect). The day of (it was rainy) and a gust of wind came and shattered the frame our seating chart was in and she measured it to go out and run around and find a frame for us, even though it wasn’t anyone’s fault!

We also had our reception there the night before and they allowed us to use the tent and we practiced our first dance with our wedding party, since they were also joining us in our dance. It was super helpful to be able to use that space. They have a beautiful bridal suite which was amazing, and they have a breakfast platter which is absolutely delicious and they gave us a complimentary wine that I told her I really liked when we went there for our food tasting which was so sweet that she even remembered I liked that ❤ Since you pay for the bridal suite I highly recommend finding a hair stylist and a makeup artist who is willing to travel to you. The space is wonderful and it was great to be there all day, Nicole even let us start setting up earlier than they typically do. Again, I can seriously go...

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with this venue and the incredible planning team that came with it. From day one, Nicole made the entire process so easy. She listened carefully to our vision, respected our budget, and helped us bring everything to life seamlessly. Nicole was not only friendly and funny, but also refreshingly honest—she let us know exactly what things would cost, where we could cut corners, and where it was worth investing to get the look and feel we wanted. She helped us align our preferences, guided us through the decision-making process, and was always available, consistently responding within 24 hours to both calls and emails. She even navigated family dynamics with such grace and understanding, which meant the world to us.

On the day of the wedding, Amelia stepped in to assist and was equally wonderful—attentive, kind, and helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly.

As for the venue itself, it was absolutely stunning. The lush hydrangea bushes in the back, the spacious lawn (where they even offered lawn games like cornhole, and let us bring a few of our own), the beautiful fountain, and the archway all created the perfect setting for our ceremony and reception. The team set up the tent and ceremony space beautifully, and the two hours we were given for décor setup were more than enough. The bar was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the entire day went off without a hitch.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about what a hidden gem this place was. Whether they were local or from out of town, everyone was amazed by the venue. One of our guests even mentioned that they drive by the property twice a day on their commute and never would have guessed such a beautiful space was tucked back here. It was so special to hear how impressed everyone was with the atmosphere.

We are so grateful to Nicole, Amelia, and the entire team for making our day everything we hoped for and more. We would recommend this venue a...
