Twin Acres Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Sandwich

Honestly I thought the ice cream was terrible. I got 2 flavors from the specials list (strawberry cheesecake and banana cream pie). Both had a sickening fake fruit flavor and both were way too sweet. I also found the ice creams to be icy in texture. My husband got the blueberry pie sundae which was decent, he was very nice and traded with me because I couldn’t even stomach more than a few bites of the flavors I had ordered. I don’t normally write reviews but this place had a line down the street (we waiting for over 30 minutes) so we naturally thought it was popular for a reason…not so much! Do yourself a favor and try one of the many other ice cream establishments on the cape instead, they’ve got to be better...

Honestly, the ice cream wasn't great, I got butter pecan in a pecan pie Sundae and my wife got a coffee vanilla twist Sundae. neither of us found the ice cream flavorful, and my pecan pie was stuff in the bottom of a cup, it wasn't warm, and the crust was stale. Maybe it's just the end of the season, but we were disappointed. Yhey were also completely out of all their vegan options, which left one member in our group out of the ice cream fun, we had specifically picked Twin Acres because it looked like they'd easily be accommodated.
