I have been meaning to get to this spot for over a year now. I’m on the phone while the person on the other end was walking in to get a platter. So guess what? The next day…I pulled up!! LET’S GO!! . Their Grilled Jerk Salmon Sub ($16.99 with grilled salmon, jerk sauce, peppers, onions, tomatoes, & lettuce on a bed of fries). I got this because a customer came in, & was adamant about ordering this!! Thick, meaty, & mildly spicy!!

STAMP!! Their 3 Wings Entree ($14.99 with 3 whole wings drizzled with their signature Boss Sauce, mac n cheese, & greens). I’m siced that I got crispy, whole wings with a tangy sweet BOSS Sauce, with LIKE THAT well seasoned greens, & DELICIOUS mac!!

STAMP!! Their Jumbo Shrimp Entree ($14.99 fried shrimp, with sweet potatoes, & cabbage). Plenty of shrimp, fried to perfection, LIKE THAT sweet-sweet potatoes, & the cabbage was DELICIOUS!!

STAMP!! Their Fruit Punch ($2.99). Sweet Kool Aid Sweet, but tasty!! . Customer Service: On Point . Parking: Decent. . Recommendations: Get that sub, shrimp, & wings!! . Accessibility: It’s is wheelchair friendly, & it’s differently abled persons friendly.

I kept hearing about BBU so I had to try it. Last Thursday evening, I went in and to my surprise the vibe was dope. That evening the place was cozily lit with jazz playing in the background. A young lady whose name started with a B helped me get familiar with the menu. What I liked about her was she was a kind spirit who didn't mind describing the best options for your palate. The only problem was everything sounded simply delicious. Finally,I ordered the 3 whole wings, 2 pieces of whiting and my sides were mac n cheese &collard green. Once I got home, the food didn't disappoint. The protein was fried to perfection and seasoned well not to mention that mac n cheese was so good. The greens melted in my mouth with an explosion of flavors. I was glad to have experienced an establishment that embellished the essence of soul food coming straight from the heart mixed with employees who recognizes hospitality really does matter. Food was nothing to be excited about I had the fried croacker dinner and it was not good at all fish wasn’t crispy only seasoned on one side smh thought it wasn’t seasoned at at until I got to the other side which tasted like crab seasoning. The sides I had fries which were okay but that season they put on it is for acquired tastes only smh fries shouldn’t taste like it has some kind of sugar on them the Coleslaw was okay but the potato salad was bland just taste like mayo. Also got a cake for desert red velvet I believe well that shit was dry as hell far from fresh. This place is next to my job so I decided to try it haven’t been back since!
