Alehouse Grill — Restaurant in Bowling Green

First off, I'd like to say I enjoyed the food. If they keep playing with the current recipes they'll go far. My wife had the Western burger and I had the Peanut butter burger. Bacon was the thickest I've ever had and was cooked well. The peanut butter sauce was a really cool twist. The pretzel bun... was not available (as well as the chicken chunks my wife tried to order). It just needed some texture, either the bun needed toasted or something to make it more interesting. Location is terrible but that's not their fault, the mall is just a run down ruin at this point. The interior was simple, no complaints with the seating. My biggest gripe by far would have to be with the craft beer selection. With a name like Alehouse I expected a decent draft menu or bottle list but I was mistaken . All your normal domestics and what not but nothing close to what I was thinking and why I choose to come in the first place. They did give a courtesy discount on account of some items being unavailable so that was very kind of them. All in all I'd come back again and see what they have to offer in hopes that...

My family got curbside carry-out tonite and to say we were amazed was an understatement. We tried a variety and everything was FAR above expected. Oh, where to start?? The pretzel breadsticks were done perfect - soft and chewy inside with just that tiny bit of soft pretzel crust on the outside. Onion rings were cooked beautifully- oh wait- the triple club?? The thing was LOADED with meat, fresh lettuce and tomatoes- and huge!! Wait - did I say it was simply delish?? 7-year old had the wings. Opened the box and he screeches “what?!” I mean - these were some serious wings!! (I will have them as MY entree next time!) he loved them!! Husband had the mushroom Swiss burger and said it was the best burger he’s ever had and this guy has had burgers from all over the US as well as abroad,so he knows a burger. I didn't have any of the food so I can't vouch for that. But I went with some friends during happy hour and it wasn't that great of an experience. There was a cover charge for the band that was playing and that was fine, the band was halfway decent but the people working the bar are pretty inept. I had to wait quite a long time to get a drink when we did get drinks some of them didn't even taste right (mixed drinks / cocktails) so they really need better help here. Don't know if I'll be back anytime soon maybe to...
