Old Town Buffet — Restaurant in Bowling Green

This place is one of our regular stops for dinner or lunch. There's always a good selection of choices and the staff are super friendly - they always recognize us and take the time to make our favorite items if they're not currently available on the food bar or at the Sushi stand. (If you're not a regular, just ask your server or any of the staff. If they have it available they'll generally accommodate you.) Most buffets I've been to, they don't bother much with table service, but our servers have always been attentive, checking on taste and drinks, and responsive. They've got decent pricing for the buffet and take-out, plenty of seating, and it's always clean. If the parking is full in the front, there is parking and an entrance around the back, but it's pretty rare that it's that full.

My roommates and I recently went to this buffet, and nothing will ever be the same. This dining experience was the epitome of cuisine. Untouched by the hands of competing establishments. No where else can you get skewered meat, green beans, and strawberry marinated bananas of this caliber. But the real star, nay, the zenith of this soul altering experience was the water. It may as well have come from the fountain of youth. No other drink has ever left me as satisfied, as quenched, and yet so thirsty for more. I felt a primal urge each time staff walked by to offer refills from the pitcher in hand. I’m convinced that when they set that very pitcher down to retire, it fills itself back up. I recently moved to Bowling Green, wanted to try different options around this area. Ordered online and went to pick up. One of the staff lady is very very rude by looking at us (Resist maybe) . Only 2-3 tables filled with people but she acted as if entire restaurant is full and she does not have any time for us to respond. Asked for "HOT SAUCE" but she gave "DUCK SAUCE", doubted that and asked her again is that Hot sauce she assured. What an attitude.
