Recently renovated, everything is new, shining and huge. One of the largest Kroger's in Ohio. Fresh food. Okay prices. Place to eat in store. Starbucks in store. More than food is here too, clothes, shoes, small hardware isle, toys, pharmacy, vitamins, and a lot more. Also a gas station.

I ❤ Krogering! They have a good selection of food stuffs, toiletries & home products. Quality is high, prices are competitive, the staff is super friendly & we all love the fuel points! The state liquor store is also here - great for all holidays!

Just a stop to see their hanging basket sale and krogers had a great price on ferns. They always have a nice selection of summer garden plants.

Bowling Green has a Meijer, Aldi, WalMart, and there is a Churchills in Perrysburg. Go to one of them. This Kroger represents everything wrong with the grocery store industry.

Gone are the days of being able to quickly go to Kroger for groceries. Mountains of lawn chairs and off brand clothes clog the isles. The isles are set up for maximum impulse buying, more so than a normal grocery store. Pop-out displays are everywhere and always in the way. They can't seem to put similar food types in one place. For example, ramen noodles are split between convenience food, Asian food, and noodles. Just pick a spot. "Trendy cheese" is separate from "normal cheese". Feta is trendy, parmesan is both. Tortilla chips are in four places plus blocking the entrance. It seems like maybe they want you to walk by as much junk as possible in the hope you will buy stuff you don't need. Their attempt to be Trader Joe's and Meijer isn't working.

In order to get items for even a borderline decent price you have to subscribe to their club card which tracks your purchases. Their Algorithm somehow always suggests a similar but worse version of what you just bought and kills several trees worth of paper printing coupons for those items at checkout. Now they have an app that saves you $.03 on the item they marked up $.25 that they want to download. For a coupon app it sure asks for some "interesting" permissions. I wonder why they want to track your location and use your microphone?

Don't use their pharmacy if you want your script filled on time or covered by your national full coverage insurance. You will wait days for them to get the medication in stock only to find out your major carrier's reimbursements weren't within their profit margin guidelines. I take that to mean they tried to negotiate with a big insurance company and failed so they took their bat and ball and went home crying. This is just one more "extra service" Kroger tries to offer but can't quite get together.

Kroger used to be a decent grocery store. Now they are a bad pharmacy, a poorly stocked general store, an overpriced home goods store, and a poorly organized and overpriced "grocery store-like"...

I love the new bigger store. Today I had a special order for the sushi bar, all eel. The young man fixed me right up.

I couldn't find the Angus Whole Beef Tenderloin that was on special for $9.99/Lb and the Woman behind the meat and seafood counter came out and showed me where they were in the regular center aisle of meats.

When I needed a bagger to come out with me to load groceries into my truck, the young lady would not accept a tip from me! I wish you would let them accept gratuities if offered and I'll tell you why. Four years ago I had to go on disability. Social Security Disability and a second 100% Service Connected Disability from the VA. The VA disability is more than I ever made in any of the 41yrs of working. I felt tremendous guilt for getting that much money while my friends continue to live paycheck to paycheck. So I decided to pay it forward. I treat my friends to lunch or dinner at local restaurants, buy practical things I know they need, fill-up their gas tank and I always over tip. I...

I've been shopping at this location since the early 1990s and still appreciate and love it today. They're selection is constantly refreshing and the recent remodel has brought in a lot of new fresh options that I definitely love. While it's true that Walmart often beats them in price, they offer better brands, better fresh options, and the service is far better. Some of the folks have been working there as long as I can remember and are dependable, friendly faces. I have moved to Weston and so don't visit nearly as often anymore, but I do prefer to shop here over my other options in town. The new additions are great and the whole store is less crowded and easier to shop. I'm also very excited to try their grocery pick up option (I've used this service before when I lived in the DC area and am happy to see it's arrived here) as I do really love this option for as a monthly...
