China Express — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Been going here for years. Used to be good (not great). I don't know what's going on but ate there this week and it was horrible. The white rice that came with the meal was actually so old and overcooked it had weird gelatinous patches, and smelled off. It appeared we got the bottom of the rice warmer where parts were browned, and had to be at least 2 days old. It truly was a waste of $40, spending that money you should get fresh food. The House mei fun was horribly boring with very little added to the noodles with zero taste. I'm sad because I used to enjoy this place, I don't know if business is slow due to circumstances in 2020, but that doesn't excuse serving old food. I gave one star, hope they see this and...

Last time that I went there we had went in to get a to go order placed order gave the woman our money. She also rang up somebody at the window took their money. She had dropped some change on the floor picked it up. Then went and grab some Food with her bare hands that had not been washed from money Or the floor. Add said something instantly she told me" no it's OK not for food" I Told her I didn't care If it was my food or not that was nasty so she dumps it back on the grill like that's gonna fix it. Went in this place because we needed a place to sit and eat a bite and have a cup of green tea. Sign on the door stated "Dine in or Take Out". First red flag was they do not serve green tea. Chinese food but no green tea? After we got our food they told us we cannot eat inside. I did not notice the hand made "no dine in" sign at the register when I ordered because I was so focused on what to order off the lunch menu. So, we had to eat on the sidewalk steps out front.
