I give this place 3 stars. If you love Japanese food, you will love this place. They do have other things like chicken, pizza, a salad bar, and many other things for people that don't like Japanese food. If you have never been here, give it a try. Yes, it is expensive, and yes you have to pay upfront, but at least you will experience a new restaurant. They have a sushi bar and a grill so that's a plus. Sometimes they have blue crab and crawfish. I wish they had more choices of food wise but it was pretty good food tonight. Price wise: $38 for two adults and two drinks. They charge a 10% fee, that is for tips. Which isn't horrible, some restaurants charge more than that. I'll be glad to pay 10%. Check out my pictures. 3 stars, because the bathroom was dirty, as you can see in the pics toilet paper on the floor. I hate dirty bathrooms. The place seemed to be clean in most areas. Just make sure to keep your children close by. That place is huge and it's not a good place to let your kids run.

4.5 stars Golden Hibachi Buffet is the best deal for the money in Bowling Green in terms of meals. Place is showing signs of wear and tear but is efficiently cleaned between patrons. It can seat large groups effortlessly and the staff keep everything moving. Food selection is very large from Asian to American with some others tossed in. My favorite is the hibachi bar, where you can choose your cold food items and have them cooked quickly in front of you with different seasonings and sauces. The sushi person is continually making fresh sushi, and it's pretty good, but doesn't have expensive toppings, mostly veggies and imitation crabmeat. The other on bar items are good. The desserts vary day to day but ice cream is always a favorite. Very hard to leave without feeling extremely stuffed.

I opted to try the watermelon and a salad because everything from the bar I tried had a wang to it or was cold. Unfortunately, the salad had the same wang, and was also room temperature! The bottled salad dressings were not on ice and they too were room temp. In hind site, those salad dressing were probably sitting out all day. After a few bites I felt sick. I got up to go to the restroom but did not make it. I actually threw up right there in the dinning room! The warmers/coolers do not work! I’m calling the health department tomorrow! Management said absolutely nothing!!!! Never again! Immediate food poisoning! I have never thrown up in a restaurant before. Are these new owners?????

My husband and I just moved to bowling green and this was the only Chinese restaurant with a buffet we found close, based on the reviews we were excited to try it and then have our family visit to try it. While the food was absolutely amazing, I witnessed some things I will not tolerate from a restaurant. There were kids of a customer dining in running about the restaurant unattended. I witnessed them putting their hands in the deserts, licking their fingers and repeating. I had told a staff member close by. The foods were never removed from the bar. I decided to finish my food and not return to the buffet, no big deal right? No. As I was waiting to leave I witnessed a waitress towering over people telling them “you cannot eat that, it’s for ‘dinner only’ you owe $3” the customer stated they were not aware and apologized. I was floored at that point, because the waitress had done so with another group of people. Never in my life have I seen a waitress or waiter tower over people getting their food and then confront them in front of everyone in the restaurant!! I decided to approach the manager, I went to the front desk and asked for the manager, the lady standing there pointing to the guy behind her on the phone. I waited for him to finish his conversation, and I wanted to address him regarding the waitress that was towering over people telling them that “had to pay $3 to continue eating” as I was talking to him, I was calm but expressed that the waitress shouldn’t be towering over people over items being on the buffet open, signs or no, the items were on the bar accessible to customers. Little did I know it was the desert bar that had been played in previously. The gentleman they addressed appeared to be embarrassed so I let the manager know. Thinking like a normal person, I assumed the manager would address the employee in private. That was not the case! The lady I asked for the manager to kept interrupting me, talking about a situation that was not the same as what I was addressing. I stated this, she then chimed back in, in Chinese, and I stated this was not the same issue as she’s referring to. At that time she and the manager became quite rude, mind you I’m a calm person, I was at that point done talking and I had told the manager, I could not speak for anyone else, but for me and my husband, we wouldn’t be back after all that had taken place during our time there. The manager leaned over the counter into my personal space and said “thank you, bye” in a hasty manner.

While yes this situation was not mine, I was trying to speak to the manager in a professional manner, to let them know that his waitress was chasing people down for money and towering over people while they ate. There should have been no confrontation or hostility at all. If food is on a buffet bar, and open to guests, it shouldn’t be extra, regardless the cost. If it’s only available for certain times, it should only be put out and not accessible to guests until said time to avoid confusion and issues.

Needless to say while they don’t care that they lose 2 customers, I felt people should know this is the kind of service you’ll receive. I was willing and ready to leave a great review after eating but now.. if there is a problem, don’t speak to the staff, it will get you nowhere. Drive the extra mile to a...

I love the food here and the owners......but there waitress is beyond rude. This isn't the first rude encounter me and my family have had with her. The night my mother came here about 2 weeks ago she went up to buffet to get her a plate of food and the lady even seeing she still had her jacket and purse still busted the table and took all silverware and drink. When my mom asked for her drink and silverware she told her no only one. And so my mom after waiting 15 min and still nothing felt embarrassed and got up and left . Tonight. .....yay us we have the same server and she has been nothing but rude and has not wanted to give us a drink refill and has tried to take my plate that is still very much full of food away and when my mom asked for a refill she loudly said Yes I hear you!!!!! I'm a restaurant manager myself and if that was one of my employees lord have mercy would we be having a long coaching session. And she has done this to 3 other tables tonight and took drinks and plates and when customers come back to table she rolls her eyes and gets mad. I'm sorry but she either needs a new position in restaurant or something. Don't treat customers badly ......and yes I'll still give a tip to her bc I understand the struggle of life but it won't be my normal tip. Again.....I love the food and love the owners and will still come often but I will not be sat with...

I was at the buffet on 3-22-2025, me and my family had gotten our food, after we had gotten our second drinks, the waitress kept ignoring us, I left her almost %15 tip. You must pay and tip first if you use credit. So I figured we would get good service. I was very wrong, my son had to go get the manager and ask for drink refill and I had to go and ask the manager again if the waitress went on break, because my wife who is partially blind has a hard enough time doing stuff. I feel if I was a minority I would have had gotten better service, as I kept noticing that she was ignoring us. I really do like the restaurant and the food, but if I am going to get poor service, I do not recommend this to no one even my VFW Brothers and I do not recommend that the Knights of Columbus don’t go there. Look, I don’t care if you are white, black, Asian or Spanish Service should be fair across the board. If the people who are in this industry and can’t do this should be let go. Also before she got our drinks, she cleaned a very nasty table and swept the floors and then with her dirty hands came and got our glass, with the dirty dishes. Remember this is a buffet, not order off the menu. If the waitress is willing to grab the glass you drink out of and grab dirty dishes, I don’t know how in the world they pass a...
