Burger and Bowl — Restaurant in Bowling Green

I would have to say this was my sons first job and the manager Brittany today was very unprofessional. Me as a mother and a profession that ran a corporate business for 6+ years know that the way you communicate is everything. My son being a black male today walk into work and was called out In front of all his employees and customers. (1st mistake) 2nd instead of pulling him to the side or stepping outside because Brittany stated they had no where to talk and yes she did be rude to him in front of everyone. But mind you not this is the this first time she has been rude to my son. Every time he works with her he tells me a story about something she did at work that made him uncomfortable and he knew wasn’t right. So to proceed on he called me to pick him up. As I asked her why she did what she did there was no explanation and I was told no one wants to talk to me and the owners are out the country and wouldn’t talk to me anyway if I wanted them too. And that I need to leave the premises before she called the cops as she walks towards me. Mind you not my kids are in the car I’m not rude and I’m not threatened . Just simply waiting on a email address or number to call to see why it’s ok for her to discriminate against my son. But no results and no answers . So now I’m trying my best to see who owns Burger Bowl and if they will speak to me. This is not right and I feel need to be discuss. One word: YES!

If you are debating with your significant other or yourself on whether or not you should have lunch here, just say YES to them or yourself. The location is absolutely perfect and only 5 minutes away from my favorite coffee spot in Bowling Green. My first item tried was the "Southwest Bowl" with the "Bison Patty" added in for protein and I ate every bit of it. I came back today to have lunch because I was that impressed with the quality of the food prepared. The wait was very reasonable to get my order too, their system for checking the status is convenient and visible from one of their screens.

The second item I ordered was the "Super Bowl" and it was exactly that: SUPER. Add a little bit of egg on top, and it was perfection. This location is going to be a special treat during the week for lunch or dinner with a friend or family. I came on my own to have a working lunch and the atmosphere was popping, great energy and the music gives a great feel to the place. Inside it is incredibly beautiful and very spacious.

I spent between $22-30 dollars for each meal (I also ordered Sweet potato fries and a milkshake the first time, so get ready to spend) -- to that point though, money well worth spent, every part of the meal was incredibly satisfying and I highly recommend you pass the word along to your friends and family. Great concept, good variety, nice atmosphere. Burger & Bowl gives you the ‘fast casual’ concept...casual good eating in upscale surroundings but includes quality fast food offerings like gourmet burgers, fries, and shakes. Not feeling the burger and fries, then try a fresh Protein/Power Bowl filled with grains and veggies. After your meal, grab a latte from the full service coffee bar. Location and parking are great. The warm modern atmosphere is open with plenty of spaced out seating. An ideal place for working lunches of one; or grab a long table that seats eight for bigger meetings. Menu offers lots of variety but can get a tad pricey if you add protein options to a bowl. I got a bowl with quinoa and veggies. I didn’t care for some of the flavor combinations, but I am seeing now that everything is customizable! They will tweak any bowl/meal, so no worries if you are following the keto, paleo, or Mediterranean diet, etc. Service was ok. They do offer touch-screen ordering but service with a smile was a little lacking...and, I had to wait over 20 minutes for my food. There is a large display that tells you when your order is ready...not sure why as someone yells out your order number as it comes to the window (a little distracting to the vibe).
