Novo Dolce LLC — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Review updated in July 2025: I had another wonderful visit at this lovely restaurant. Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and nice service. This time I tried their classic entrée, which was "Steak & Frites". Beef stripes with house fries covered with delicious bourbon & mustard sauce. And all topped with grated parmesan cheese. It tasted very well and I did enjoy it very much. 🥩🔥 After a dinner we decided to try some desserts and we picked 2 for 4 of us: Apple Pie (very interesting mixture of sweet and spicy flavors) as well as Belgian Chocolate Mousse Cake. And the latter has immediately become my favorite one tonight. Absolutely perfect! Delicate and sweet. 😋🍫🥧👌🏻

Just visited today this nice restaurant with a friend of mine. And must say it was a good call to have a dinner at Novo Dolce. The dish I picked was Chicken Elizabeth, and it was really good. Fried chicken was tender and crispy. With vegetables and orange, bread and sauce, it was a nice combination of flavors. And the local beer (Blue Stallion 🐎 wheat beer from Lexington) was absolutely awesome!! Never drank it before, so I did like it and will have it now more...

My friend and I who have been in the food & beverage/service industry for quite some time, flew in from Virginia to check out many things in Bowling Green but some of the most beautiful things in life happen spontaneously. The night prior to our visit at Novo Dolce, we had visited "The Bistro" which is another of Sasa Mandrapa's restaurants in the area. We were so taken by that experience that we had to try another. We immediately fell in love with the concept of a pub that specializes in elevated cuisine. The salmon dish was heavenly, the dolce pizza was exquisite and to top it all off...Anna D was our server! Her level of customer service is unrivaled. She greets with a breathtaking smile and a soft-souled genuineness to match. She had wonderful menu knowledge which urged us to order the Limoncello mascarpone at the end of the meal. We were in heaven. We wish the best for everyone involved for making this experience what it was for us....

My husband and I had the most fantastic dinner for his birthday. We ordered the Reuben egg rolls for the appetizer, the shrimp and grits and the brisket torta. The egg rolls came quickly and were wonderful. The sauerkraut wasn’t overwhelming but provided a nice flavor to the dish l. The dipping sauce complimented the food well.

My brisket torta was delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful. The roll the sandwich was served on was soft and seasoned well. I also had an order of sweet potato wedges. They were okay. The real star of the show was the shrimp and grits my husband ordered. The grits are formed into a cake and the texture and flavor is amazing! There were several large shrimp and the sauce on the entire dish was so good. This is probably one of the best dishes I have tried.

The service was great, the restaurant wasn’t too loud and overall we had a wonderful and affordable meal. We cannot...
