Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Ordered three items from drive-thru. They charged us for everything we ordered correctly but we were given a incorrect item. We didn't notice until we got home to eat the treats. So had a very disappointed person and wasted our money. Very frustrating.

Given another chance: I ordered 3 items once again in the drive thru. One of the large blizzards we ordered came so unmixed and with little add ins that I ate a 1/4 of and stirred the blizzard repeatedly and had basically flecked vanilla. I went back through the drive thru and said that my blizzard had no toppings. The cashier walked away and got the person who made the blizzard. The person told me that they made it and they put all the ingredients in. Then asked if I wanted it remade and I was confused because I was under the impression that blizzards were blended not layered and that they would come with more than just flecks of ingredients. She proceeded to shut the window and walk away. So I overpaid for a large cup of vanilla ice cream with flecks of chocolate. I have no idea why they would bring the person that made the blizzard over to argue about it. So strange. Then to have them close the window and walk away while I sat stunned from being called a liar for wanting a blizzard instead of overpriced vanilla ice cream in a cup. Even though they asked if I wanted it remade I was so uncomfortable from being called a liar by the blizzard maker. Who would want a blizzard remade by someone clearly upset you called them out? No thanks. Just don't expect them to go out of their way to give you what you pay for. If they run out of the ingredients they'll just hand you plain ice cream and...

I ordered the chicken strip basket and was under the impression that it came with gravy, as I've ordered in the past and never had to ask for gravy before. As a matter of fact I just ordered it from the dairy queen in cave city the other day and it automatically came with the gravy. When the girl at the drive thru asked me if I wanted any sauce I said no, just the gravy. I get all the way home and open the box and there's no gravy. Yes I drove all the way back because I wanted that gravy, it's the best part. Anyway, I get there and tell them I thought it came with gravy and it didn't so I need some gravy. The girl tried to tell me there would be a charge!!! For the sauce I didn't get that was supposed to come with it?? She ended up not charging me but still, it was a big inconvenience and by the time it was all said and done my food was...

The first thing I noticed was that the restrooms were extremely clean. That is a rarity in public service these days. The restrooms were also well stocked. Several of the tables had food debris and sticky spots on them but we're clear of clutter. The salt and pepper shakers had dried food and spots on them. When ordering, the young man at the counter was very friendly and efficient. The food was hot and fresh. The only complaint that we had was the messy dining room. I noticed the lady working in the kitchen was very fast and efficient as well when orders came in. It was not a busy time, I'm not sure why the tables were not cleaned.
