I had the craziest experience going here for the first time last night. The guy taking my order at the drive thru was so weirdly combative and rude like a child who didn't have enough experience with customer service yet but I could tell by his voice that he was much older than that, so I'm guessing he just hates life and/or his job. I asked what vegetables come in the yakisoba and he was like "the vegetables that come in it!" 😂😂 He was angry I didn't already know even though it was not listed on the menu or angry that I wasn't ordering in the way he wanted even though he didn't seem to know how to effectively communicate anything to a customer who has basic questions. This attitude never let up even though I let him know I was new and I tried to keep de-escalating instead of just driving away since I've worked drive thru and was trying to be understanding. A few more examples: when asking what sauce came with the crab rangoons I got another "the sauce that comes with it!" in a combative tone even though it wasn't listed, and when trying to make sure I would get a white sauce: "you get that with the yakisoba, I was trying to tell you that!" when he could have easily done so and did not... Guys this was not even all of it, I had never had an experience anywhere like this and I've heard a lot of tough drive thru situations and even had to de-escalate for others as a manager. I never spoke rudely or raised my voice but kept getting this strange combative behavior from him, I honestly wanted to ask him if I'd done something to offend him but I knew that would probably make him lose it and I just wanted my food... Until I pulled up to the window and was shocked that one noodle bowl with cheap steak and some crab rangoons was $25! So yeah, there's a lot of reasons not to come...
Read moreI ordered a spicy tuna tempura roll but on the receipt it was a regular spicy tuna roll so when I received it, it was wrong and I called and they told me to drive back through to the window. I did when I got to the window I explained again that the roll I asked for isn’t the one I received that I was wanting the deep fried spicy tuna roll. The guy at the window kept saying “i don’t know” and then closed the window to get the higher up I suppose. So when this new guy came to the window he was very rude and disrespectful saying they already made the food and that’s what I’m going to eat... I didn’t mind paying the difference or anything at all but he kept being so rude so I asked him why he’s being so rude to me I was just trying to fix the problem, maybe it was my fault maybe I didn’t say it right at the window (I’m pretty sure I did but I don’t remember I’m flustered at this point) but I’m trying to be respectful because I understand the issues in the food industry. But he was literally the most disrespectful and rudest person I’ve ever met at in a consumer setting. I don’t understand what I did that ruined his day but what they didn’t know is I’m pregnant and I cannot eat the spicy stuff they put on the roll they gave me I also was told that I can eat tuna sushi if it was deep fried so that is what I wanted to do but instead I paid for food I cannot eat will nit be going back here. Read moreI just had the most HORRIFIC experience at Shogun Express in Bowling Green and the best part? I have a video to prove it. The manager, not sure if they gave me the right name MIKE ETES got my entire order wrong because the store had a lot of customers and he wanted to rush the order. I called him to tell him the order was wrong and he blamed me for being wrong, proceeded to tell me he was not going to do anything about and rudely hung up.
I went back to the restaurant and he told me he didn’t care about his customers and that he was NOT American, he was Hawaiian not sure what he meant by that. People like him SHOULD NOT WORK CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I will never give Shogun me and my family’s business ever again! And we were frequent. No one deserves to get treated the way he treated me and my family. He also yield in front of a lot of customers that he didn’t care at all about customers... of course this was said in a very very rude and unprofessional manner.
P.S. I’ve NEVER written a bad review online in my life because I’m not of that nature but the way this man handled this situation deserves a review. I’d give negative stars if that...
