Listen, this is my friends and I favorite spot to get Vietnamese. I always get the fresh spring rolls with pork & shrimp and peanut sauce, (I mix in a little bit of Sriracha with the sauce). I just recently put some of the fish sauce (they had salty and sweet ones), inside the roll after I bit into it and - oh my god, so good. I do wish they would make them fatter, load it up that noodle and basil, but maybe one day…

My go-to entree is always the phó, either just the rare steak one or the LOADED one with meatball and tendon too. The broth was lacking in flavor this time around, but still, it hit that craving I had.

Service has been a bit of a mix these last few months. Sometimes it’s really good and sometimes it’s not great, but I’m not here for great and superb service, I’m here for the grub. I’m the type of person that if I need something, I ask for it and don’t mind doing so. It’s just funny when the server asks the table if we need utensils for our rice and noodle meals, like yes… If you see 4 people sit down, just bring 4 utensils. 😂 One of the other girls helping was phenomenal and even gave me a ramekin of 4 huge lemon slices for my to-go Diet Coke, it may have been a small gesture, but that little thing makes me want to go back.

As for atmosphere; I really wish it gave more Vietnamese vibes. It definitely needs an update to the interior as some of the booths are falling apart; traditional music playing would definitely add to the ambience, some updated tables for seating, and lighting are much needed. I hope they’re able to do...

Unfortunately I have to give Tsunami 2 stars. Not once, not twice, but three times we had to go back just to get our order right. And each time, instead of owning up to their mistake, we were met with accusations that we got the number wrong. Like, seriously? I mean, I got the number from Google and spoke to their own employee. The inconsistency from "I don't know where that order is" on the first visit to suddenly the boss claiming his employees remember our conversation on the third visit just doesn't add up. It's a shame because the food is top-notch, but the service and attitude? Not worth it..I suggest just going in and sitting down. The boss, Tom, was really nice and ultimately did make it right but I could tell he was annoyed over the phone. I am not saying to not eat here, they do have amazing food, but ordering over the phone and ordering take out is just overall frustrating especially with the employees and their attitude when things get lost on their end. Also, even after giving my number on the first call, they never asked for my name. There was confusion when my boyfriend mentioned my name for the order, and again with my number—still, they found nothing. None of this would’ve happened if my order wasn’t lost in the first place. It's probably best to eat at the restaurant, but if you still encounter problems with your order, then good luck, because it seems some of the male waiters aren't up to par with...

My family and I have been customers of Tsunami for years, and often end up here on a Sunday bc it is the only place open that serves Pho. Their food is pretty good, service is always hit or miss. Our recent visit may have been our last. We were instantly greeted and sat, by a server yawning loudly. Another person brought our drinks and said our server was busy so took our order. This individual is the one that served us the rest of the time, we will tip 20% maybe more if we are being extra needy (ask for sides of sauces & refills) which in this case we did, but had to physically walk up with our cups when they were empty. We recieve our check and I see a 18% service charge, I ask about it and I'm told it is if you order 6 entrees the computer automatically adds this. I respond with "so its gratuity added?" & the server openly answered "yeah kind of" My young child noted that we only had 5, after the server leaves, she was right. I look at the reviews online and see this has been an issue and apparently it's checks over 60.00. My oversight in the past bc I'm 100% sure we spend over 60 bucks everytime we visit, so they've definitely made some money on our family. (My kids also noticed the person that was supposed to be our server napping) I am very much a local business supporter, but to add an 18% service charge with 4 people at a table with nothing posted about it, is not a place I will...

My family and I love love Tsunami! We love the food, prices are great, they have different varieties of Asian cuisine, however, when it comes to their sauce they are a bit stingy. Every time my family and I come there to eat or order food to go, we always get 3 orders of their fried wantons, which consist of 15 fried wontons, and every time they give you hardly any sauce for it. We’ve asked for extras before and we have been turned down because they apparently they can not give more. I just don’t understand, I’ve been a server so giving extra sauces when a customer ask isn’t something that should be a big deal nor should you turn your customer down on something so little. I hope that this review will help them give a better service when it comes to their sauce, as well as future customers. I would have given them a 5 star had it not been for this issue. Also here is a picture of the sauce we get every time we get the wantons.

We had the Pho Tai (P1 on the menu). The “Pho” tasted good but I wouldn’t necessarily call what I ate today as pho. The spices and the smell were so light as to just hint at Pho. There was barely a scent of Anise or cinnamon (or any of the other spices used to make pho). I think I was shorted noodles because my bowl didn’t have many. I think my husband got the rest of my noodles cause his bowl was full of noodles. I also only got a few pieces of meat. That said, I still enjoyed what I ate. Just don’t call it Pho. The all important question that I ask myself is, would I eat here again? I’d say yes, but conditionally. We are visiting BG and I haven’t tried the other places in town with Pho so I don’t know how it compares. It pales in comparison to my mom’s or some of the best Pho joints in America. So 3* because it wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t necessarily great either.
