The chef specials get us every time! My husband and I enjoy dining at Feast for date night splurges. The food has been very reliable, for the most part, and we've always had great service. There have only been one or two dishes that we didn't care for but that's more because of personal preference. We always start with an appetizer. Usually oysters or whatever the raw bar special is for the day. Anytime yellowfin tuna is on the menu, that's our go-to. Both of us have ordered off the regular menu and have come to learn that the Chef's special for the night is usually the fan favorite. But, if the special of the night doesn't excite you, our on-the-menu favorites are the Diver Scallops and Feast Burger. We're usually very full and happy by the time the dessert menu rolls around but decided it was time to indulge on our most recent visit. The Vanilla Panna Cotta was so light and delicious. It's not a large serving either so it was perfect for rounding off our meal. Paired with a glass of Chateau De L’echarderie Grand Cru...perfection. In fact, a glass of wine and dessert sound great right about now. I'll be in soon. A slight warning: it can get pretty noisy in here on a busy night so if you're looking for something very intimate, you may want to have a back up plan.

We started with an order of oysters on the half shell and Parmesan truffle fries. The oysters were three east coast varieties and had great freshness and flavor. The fries were hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Out entrees consisted of Pineapple Chili Salmon, Super Lump Crabcakes, and a chef's special ahi sashimi. The sashimi was served with masago and a guava sauce that just hit the palette perfectly. The salmon was sashimi grade and cooked perfectly to order. It was served with a slightly sweet glaze that was complemented by a perfectly paired quinoa-lentil and chickpea side. The crab cakes cake packed with crabmeat and was paired with an apple slaw that complemented the crab quite well. To top it off, the carrot-parsnip cake was a most-excellent way to complete a meal that was served perfectly by Jillian who is a master of her craft. she was well versed with the menu and had answers to every question, without waiver. This will be a spot to return to the next time we visit Bozeman. (Please forgive the lack of photos; we were too busy enjoying the conversation and atmosphere)

I am in town working for the week and had the opportunity to eat at Feast. First off very welcoming staff from the moment you walk in the door. I sat at the bar and was lucky enough to sit next to a gentleman that has eaten there a few times before and also had rave reviews. The Resturant is hospitality and food forward taking care of guest through the dinner service. local pork from Great Falls, beautiful plate presentation and you will use all your senses as you are dining here. Beautiful balance of sweet, spicy, acid, buttery and each dish had wonderful textures as you ate through the dish. Couple of favorite surprises where the burst of mint in the arugula salad with the pork kofta, the crunchy saltines of the fried capers in the carpaccio, the candied hazelnuts on the scallops and last but for sure not least the little saints "no proof" cocktail (that is perfect with the ceviche) thanks chef/owner Steve, Exec. Chef Nicole and CDC Chef Natalie. I would be honored to cook for you if you come to Minnesota at the Shoreline on Lake Minnetonka.

Dear Steve, management and staff,

Subject: Heartfelt Appreciation for an Exceptional Dining Experience at Feast

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the consistently exceptional experiences my companions and I have had at Feast. Every visit to your restaurant leaves us feeling incredibly special and well taken care of.

From the moment we walk through the door, we are greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of familiarity. The fact that your staff remembers us by name is a testament to the remarkable level of personalized service you provide. It truly makes us feel like valued guests.

Of course, one of the many reasons we keep coming back is the remarkable quality of the seafood you offer. In our opinion, Feast is undeniably home to the best seafood in Bozeman. The freshness, flavors, and presentation of each dish are consistently outstanding. Your culinary team's skill and attention to detail truly shine through in every bite.

Whenever the topic of dining in Bozeman arises, I never hesitate to recommend Feast to friends, family, and colleagues. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone deserves to experience the remarkable flavors and warm hospitality that you consistently provide.

Thank you once again for creating a dining haven that goes above and beyond. Your commitment to excellence and creating memorable experiences is truly commendable. I eagerly look forward to my next visit to Feast and the delightful moments it will bring.

Warmest...

We are repeat customers for the past year and have always been thrilled with the experience.

This time, we booked a late dinner (7:45pm) for my visiting French father-in-law's 80th birthday, hoping for a lovely evening.

We'd hyped up our prior dining experiences and our mouths were watering all day!!

Unfortunately, there were two very large and very loud birthday tables of 6+ people near us so the noise was deafening.

Then we each ordered an appetizer but my mother-in-law's brussel sprouts appetizer didn't come out until the other three people had finished and their plates were cleared.

Shouldn't they have had the plates all come out at the same time? Or give an explanation? Nope. Neither happened.

I ordered the Wagyu steak (medium rare) expecting the melt in your mouth goodness that Wagyu is known for. Despite the $52 price tag, I was excited!

What I got instead was a perfectly-cooked piece of meat that could have been from any cow in this valley with far too much gristle, connective tissue, fat and tendons.

I spat out most of the steak back onto the plate. Not very ladylike but necessary.

The fries were so salty that I didn't eat more than a couple.

The salmon that my in-law's had was good. Appetizers were tasty.

I was given a 50% discount on my meal which means that I paid $26 and still went home hungry.

Signed, A very disappointed customer who may or...
