I wasn't impressed at all with the service. The steaks were very tendony and we had to eat around out because no one came to check how the steaks were. They did bring out the appetizer and literally 3 mins after they brought out my salad, and 1 min later the entrees. Thrt crammed all the food on the table. We felt really crowded at the table and felt rushed. The servers asked us 100 times how the app was and if we needed more bread but crickets for the entrée. The steaks were full of tendons, we did show the server, and nothing was done about it. The butter that came with the bread was like a chalky crumb like texture, really weird. We paid a full bill and honestly we felt a little upset that a manager never came to the table at least to address it.
Another thing is servers were complaining about the table next to us, "table 21" and gossiping about how they sent food back and how cheap they are. That's appalling honestly. The servers then kept staring at us and the table next to us gossiping, smiling, cackling, at both stations, the one across in the middle of the dining room and at the station behind us. There's really no need to behave that way on the floor in front of diners. Go in the kitchen, scream in the cooler or wait until you close. Don't be rude to people that keep your doors open. People choose to spend their hard earned money at your restaurant. You shouldn't be disrespectful to your patrons. We were really hoping to find a restaurant to be our go to, close to home and not go all the way to UTC for dining experiences. But if this is what we have to deal with, we will not be coming back.
And we love Longhorn ❤️ We just might have to only go while on vacation somewhere else though, because this was experience was disappointing unfortunately. I have NEVER had a bad steak at Longhorn or a bad experience,...
Read moreThis location has been open since June ( or around then) we tried to go once before but the wait was 2 hrs. We went recently on a Saturday night and only waited 30min for 4 of us. Not bad. It took at bit for our server to come to our table and once he did, we felt extremely rushed to figure out drinks plus appetizers. After figuring that out, we then waited even longer to place the main food order due to our server never came back. It wasn’t because we showed indecisiveness, he just wasn’t anywhere to flag down. Two of us ordered steak. My husband and I ordered the combo ribs with Parmesan crusted chicken which the server mentioned was very popular. We waited another 40min for our food. In which during that time frame, we rarely saw our server. Once our food came, I started cutting the chicken and immediately noticed it was raw. ( not just a little pink) RAW! We flagged down our server. He took the chicken back but left the ribs for my husband to eat. Cool. But then another 25+ min go by. At this point, we don’t think I’m getting my food back. We were not a priority at all. It didn’t matter we already waited 40min for food. It was like my ticket got put back to the bottom of the line in kitchen. No one came to our table to say “ Hey! Sorry it’s taking so long… or can we offer you a free drink or dessert.” Nothing. Once it showed up, it was just here ya go. We asked for a box and check. And there was no discount taken off our check nor did we ask. I at first didn’t feel the need to ask since I fully expected them to take care of the situation based on this is Longhorn. Not McDonalds and that serving someone RAW chicken could have gotten them into trouble if I indeed ate it not realizing it with the toppings it had. Very disappointing to say the least. Expected...
Read moreI'm a traveling Longhorn fan and have been so excited about the opening of this location. I called to find out if they had opened, was told they didn't take reservations; however, they didn't let me know I could be added to the wait list. Needless to say, had to wait an hour to be seated. Our server, Bri was exceptional unfortunately, I can't say the same about our dinner. Ordered three meals and all had issues. The kids meal, grilled chicken came out so overcooked, I was lucky my son liked the honey mustard, but still only ate a couple of bites. A filet with mushrooms, requested with light seasoning both were so salty and peppery, sent back. I ordered the ribeye w mushrooms, again light seasoning. Ended up with NY Strip and the only thing I can say positive was the temp was correct. Too salty!! The Mgr, Scott asked about the food and I gave him the answer. The refire of the filet meal was like night and day, so much better. Scott comped our entire meal; however, didn't feel comfortable since the refired meal was eaten. They also offered to refire my ribeye dinner which was brought out by Patricia. After having discussions with both managers, they went out of their way to correct this experience. When I got in the car, I checked my meal. Lol, ended up with another NY Strip, sweet potatoe and no mushrooms. Completely wrong meal. My advice, wait until the cooks have time to know the meat cuts and to control their seasoning hands. I love Longhorn, I will return and hopefully will be able to give the 5 Stars I have come to expect from this...
