Listen, I have heard so many negative reviews but we have to remember that Dunkin just open last week here in Brainerd. They have kinks and other things to work out, but every place does when they first open. Here's my thoughts: The drive thru is absolutely ridiculous, mainly because of location and well, everyone is trying to go and so the lines are long and it takes a while to get through. Now with that being said we went during an "off" time and used the drive thru and although there was a line, it went quickly. The other time we went was a Saturday morning and we ended up parking and walking up to the window. The walk window is OK, after waiting in line for a while, the guy hollared out for online orders and everyone went in front of me after I waited for 15+ minutes just to get to the window. They only do one order at a time at the window, which I get to avoid back ups but also donuts don't take long to grab quick if someone was to order just donuts. This could be adjust to serve more in a timely matter. The coffee, drinks and donuts so far have all been made to order, tastes good and seems fresh. They burnt (and I mean black burnt) my snackin bacon which was disappointing. I don't think I'll be back until the excitement of something new goes down or if I am by there during "off" popular times but I think it will do great once they get their feet...
Read moreI was SOOO excited to see Brainerd get a doughnut shop — I grew up in Winona MN eating them from Bloedows Bakery. For the last few years I’ve been buying them from Holiday.
Dunkin opened a few weeks ago and I seen the line in drive thru and took a quick left around the block and got in line thinking to my self I was gonna order all my favorites!
When it was my turn at the order window the electronic menu board featured drinks and sandwiches with NO PHOTOS of doughnuts and I asked “How do I know what kind you have” and they said there is a 8”x10” faded STICKER of the variety just above the speaker. It had about 8 options and that’s it!
I ordered 2 glazed, two chocolate with sprinkles and two powdered jelly filled and the special of the day snicker doodle.
Got home, opened the box and they are TINY! They tasted dry, hardly any chocolate and the powdered bizmark was not powdered-it’s some kind of crushed sugar with barely ANY JELLY INSIDE! And did I mention small?
How disappointing. A doughnut shop that does not make the doughnuts their priority 🍩 they want to make money from coffee and I refuse to pay for coffee cause I make it at home.
Lucky I can still count on Holiday Gas for my sweet tooth. I really thought Dunkin was gonna become my regular stop. It’s a pathetic joke and...
Read moreI understand that this location is new and very busy, but they can't get the simplest things right here like frosting a donut. How hard could it be? I couldn't even give the donuts away, they ended up in the trash! The frosting was a mess and not appealing at all. The glazed donuts had such a light amount of glaze that they tasted like slightly sweetened bread. The matcha tea was horrible!! It tasted like coffee. It's not supposed to have any coffee in it. The matcha powder wasn't even mixed into the drink either, just clumps of powder floating at the top. Even if the drink was right, the cup wasn't even close to being full. I've been to several Dunkin Donuts and this one is by far the worst. I was really looking forward to have one close to home finally, but this is a complete...
