Front Street Cafe — Restaurant in Brainerd

I feel the need to be honest about this place for people visiting from out of town. Don't go here. Cheap bland food that the older locals seem to love. Food is cooked with margarine like its 1989. Food arrives greasy and unseasoned. Interior smells like old musty carpet, chairs and booths are very outdated. It's 2023 and they don't accept credit cards, which is also cumbersome for some people. Perkins has higher quality food any day of the week, and if you are looking for a more elevated menu, check out Sage on Laurel. I just cannot...

I'll be honest, I only walked into this place because I needed a quick lunch between classes, and the reviews were good. If I had to describe this Cafe in three words, it would be "community center kitchen". Because that's what it looks like, it's a very simple interior, and you know you're getting d#$@ delicious home cooked food.

And that is exactly what I got. I ordered a Front st burger expecting a simple cheeseburger, and ended up getting a basket of food worthy of a dad's...

The people that work here should never be working with the public. They have zero manners and respect. Walk in to eat and no one greets us we make way to the middle of the restaurant where the cashier is we asked for a table. While rudely raising their voice “we have no tables you can order to go” we walked out… tried calling on the phone to be treated terribly. I will never return here and I’ll make sure everyone we know will not come...
