Wow is all I can say but I will definitely fill you all in a bit more. So we made reservations for 6:30 and we were a little late. I know places that would not be happy about that and would give you a hard time and we weren't all together but they still sat us no problem at all. My family and I all order my wife the surf and turf and she loved everything about it my sister in law did a Chicken dish my daughter did Chicken Ziti and Broccoli her boyfriend did the Chicken special dish. I order a Prime Rib medium when it came to the table it was definitely not medium but it was late in the day so I didn't say anything and went along eating I took a few bites and said to my wife that mine wasn't the best but I said nothing to Jenn our waitress. She came over and said you asked for Medium and that is definitely not Medium. I said it was really okay no big deal. She was so super nice and said no no not at all she asked to take it and asked if If she could get me something else. Unfortunately I had a taste for that Prime Rib so nothing was going to work they took the Rib off and coveree desert. I put 5 Stars for the meal because everyone loved what they all got. Honestly the rib wasn't horrible it just was over cooked for me but the service made up for that one steak the service from Jenn and the Manager made that steak taste 10 Times better and the personality and interaction was just way over the top amazing. We live on the North Shore and went here because my daughters Boyfriend lives on the South Shore. I tell you this for sure we will be back again and it definitely helps that we had Jenn for our waitress. I probably wouldn't be able to pick her out of a crowd but her personality and care of me and my family will be something we won't forget for a long while. Whoever needs to know this see this or read this you need to keep her at whatever you need to do. Party of 5 Burke thank you for your...
Read moreThe Chateau Restaurant was a nice night out with delicious food, friendly staff, and an overall pleasant experience. First off The Chateau was busy but I don't see that as a bad thing; when a restaurant is busy on a weekend evening it usually is a sign that the restaurant is doing something right. In this case The Chateau was doing a lot of things right. By calling ahead we were able to put our names on the list that much sooner. Upon arriving the friendly hostesses were not only nice to deal with but also seemed to know what they were doing; while we did have to wait, it was not really that long. Also, the minor special seating request we made was not only fulfilled but it wasn't any problem, it was handled with no drama and we were very comfortable. The food on the menu has a large range of selection, there is something for everyone. Although there is such a large selection I have never had anything disappointing. Portions are more than large enough without being ridiculous in size. I can't comment on the dessert selection as I have never ordered dessert here. The hostesses weren't the only quality staff, our waitress was friendly and competent. She was knowledgeable about the food on the menu and not just automatically going through the motions, she was personable and friendly when dealing with us. She checked on us often enough and fulfilled our 'during dinner' requests. She didn't pester or rush us, which was nice. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is simply the price. While the prices here aren't completely astronomical they are definitely on the high side (in my opinion). I will say, however, that I will willingly pay the extra few dollars to go back to The Chateau the next time I want a good meal with a good experience for...

I ordered an item for pick-up during my lunch break but, as I work close by, asked if I could eat it in the restaurant. The server seemed inclined to say, "No", but asked her manager, who said "Yes". I sat at a table and was given utensils, although I was not asked for a drink. While eating, the server and her manager constantly stared at me and made comments about me - which I really didn't appreciate.
An ostensibly Italian restaurant with a French name should tell the curious gourmand enough as to what to expect from this place. New England food in general is terrible, but when paying $30 for an item at a pretentiously well-adorned establishment, one would hope that quality would be better. Yet, it isn't. Every bit of the "Lobster Mac'n'Cheese" is bland and tasteless; and the lobster itself is of low quality. As I anticipated that the "cheese sauce" might be little more than a watered-down powder mix, I order a half-pint of marinara as a precautionary measure - a wise choice. With the red sauce added, it was slightly less insufferable.
As disgusting and overpriced as the meal is, it further boggles the mind that it comes with nothing but lobster and pasta. I asked for broccoli to be added over the phone (which the server found to be strange). They don't carry spinach... and, forget about kale!
This meal is...
