I am highly disappointed with this restaurant. When the restaurant first opened, I went there to order a veggie bowl with a veggie patty. Got there, and they said “sorry we don’t have veggie patties.” I was highly upset because the menu boasts the option of adding a veggie patty to any bowl. So then I was communicating with the person who responds via social media who mentioned there would be an exciting Spring menu full of vegan options. It’s about to be summer, the menu is the exact same. I then saw that an impossible patty was added to the menu (literally the only change, which was extremely cringy due to what the person on social media mentioned would be “exciting and coming soon!”). I went there tonight to order the only good looking vegan option their menu has, which was that impossible burger (who goes out to eat at a restaurant to order a salad??), and guess what? They discontinued that impossible burger menu item. Why is it still on the menu then? I will NEVER return to this restaurant or recommend anyone I know to go here. Extremely disorganized and poor communication with customers online. NO THANK YOU. Will never come back here again. Extremely disappointed. Horrible management.
EDIT in response to owner’s response: I’ve eaten plenty of places that are not “all vegan” at ALL, but still cater to the public. Your restaurant does not do that. After I left your restaurant, I went to another, not all-vegan restaurant, and they created an absolutely delicious item for me that tasted amazing with just items they had on their menu. Now THAT is 5 star service of a restaurant that caters to the public. Thanks for suggesting an all vegan restaurant, but most non-vegan restaurants offer more than a salad as a non-dead-animal...
Read moreI was able to sneak a visit on Wednesday night. Ive been hearing a lot of praise for them and decided to pay them a visit.
Atmosphere was great, comfortable bar vibes even on the dining room side. Tvs that every seat can see. The decor is nice, and the interior overall looks very new.
As for the food I was a bit disappointed, their menu mainly has fries, burgers, and wings. I decided to order some other stuff though. Bacon wrapped shrimp, the bacon was a bit overpowering, I couldn't really taste the shrimp or the cheese. The tuna bites was pretty good, on point. Not too much seasoning, flavors don't clash, and the tuna tastes fresh. As for the entrees, I got the salmon which I thought was a bit too salty, and the sauce was a bit too sweet. The rice was cold and seemed like it wasn't cooked enough, and also very bland. Menu says fermented rice but I couldn't tell if it was. Got the pot pie skillet which was okay. The chicken was a little dry, but the herb garlic biscuits were really bland, couldn't tell if it had herbs or garlic. Not sure if this is how the dishes are intended to be. I did have their seasonal tres leches which was delicious, albeit a bit pricey for the size of it. Would recommend trying it for sure.
As for the service, it was just okay, but it was a kind of busy night and it definitely looked like they were understaffed. Looked like the entire dining room only had two servers, so I can understand that it's hard for the servers to balance out their work. Theyre newly opened so I can understand their working out certain things, and maybe are unsure how much staffing to have every night because their business hasn't stabilized yet. Most likely will come back to try again and see if it's...
Read moreReally had high hopes for this place! Started out with "prime rib grilled cheese bites". Its a grilled cheese sandwich with over cooked, tough prime rib. The original aujus we got was cold; we ordered and extra and that was hot. The sandwich itself was room temperature. Diner A ordered the special quesadilla. Nothing special, just meat and cheese between a tortilla. (It was listed as an app so no sides) For $18 she was very let down. Diner B had the steak frites. It came out COLD. We hardly ever send food back, but the fries were a cold mushy pile that could barely be separated. The steak (supposed to be medium rare) was luke warm at best covered in what tasted like gravy from a can. Some pieces had absolutely no red at all. It took a while for the waitress to return after dropping the meals, so by the time the meal was returned and remade, the other 2 diners were finished eating. The remade dish was better, but the steak wasn't tender and the gravy tasted generic. The fries were great the second time. Diner C got the highlight of the meal; Salt and vinegar fish and chips. The batter was great, fries were hot and crispy. Definitely a better choice than the other 2. For dessert, we tried the adult milk and cookies. I wish they offered the cookies only, as they were delicious (peanut butter but changes daily). The "adult milk" was nasty. 2/ people don't drink, and the 3rd did NOT like the drink. Overall, service was slow considering the place was not busy. Our waitress spent more time chatting with the bartender. For the price, I expect more. Too many good restaurants in the...
