I love 22 Park Eatery! My partner and I were delighted when it opened and since then, it’s been our go-to place in Brandon. The menu is varied and the food delicious - and it’s the only place in town that a gluten-free vegan actually has multiple choices! Ken will sub out tofu for the meat in any of the bowls and salads, and he has gluten-free veggie burgers and rolls. He even has vegan, gluten-free ice cream! I’m a big fan of their other ice creams though – best mint chip I’ve ever had. The inside seating area is reminiscent of an old diner or you can sit at the tables on the patio. I had an amazing smash veggie burger on a gluten free bun which I was so grateful they had! My daughter had a smash mushroom and onion burger which she said was delicious. My 7 year old granddaughter had a side of Mac and Cheese which produced a huge smile and a thumbs up which needs no explanation. The French Fries were the BEST in the area! Seriously! And the organic lemonade was also delicious. A maple walnut sundae with caramel, whipped cream, cherry and any of many toppings one would wish was the sweetest ending of all. Walk-up ordering with indoor and outdoor seating options including picnic tables(with or without umbrellas) porch tables, and inside seating in converted large home space(s). The 3 dishes we had were spectacular: pan-fried pork dumplings with dipping sauce (keep the extra to have with a noodle dish), sesame noodle salad, and Korean beef bowl. The Korean beef bowl was exceptional. Super fresh ingredients including pea shoots, pickled cucumbers, kimchee, avocado, nearly hard-boiled egg, and perfectly seasoned shaved beef on a bed of rice.
