What can I say……. Service was good. Drinks were good, not great. Food is something to be desired. We ordered chips and salsa for appetizer, I would suggest skip it, it tasted like they went to the grocery store and opened a bag of Tostitos and a jar of salsa. I ordered a meatball sub and my husband ordered the brisket sliders, again tasted like they bought at the grocery store and warmed up. We had one flight of beers to try and ended up getting 1 drink each, with tip over $80. My opinion not worth it for store bought food warmed up. If you are looking for some great atmospheres with great food and drinks and great service try the following; Three Bulls tavern(sangria is great, Cuban and homemade potato chip fries and many other choices for drinks and food, many good choices) Bullfrog Brewery ( burger and garlic fries are the bomb with many choices of drinks and food) Coppertails (pretzel for appetizer, nachos, shrimp Caesar salad and much more) We have been to these three places mentioned above many, many times and have gotten something different each time and has been really good for the food and drinks. We will not be returning to Bootleggers, not for us. We were very...

Absolutely a hidden gem. Everything I've had so far has been top notch. I rarely get excited about a restaurant these days. Typically overpriced and basic. Not here! In this case, the beer was good, the people were friendly and everybody seems to take pride in their work.

You can tell a lot of thought is put into the menu and it's executed well. It's not pretentious. The Quality of the food stands out. An example would be the Cajun mustard which is unapologetically strong. The homemade root beer was also good but not for everyone. The Reuben sandwich was great. It's all or nothing in the flavor department. They went all in.

If I had to make one suggestion is that that place needs more atmosphere. It was quiet, and low tempo. Almost too quiet. Which isn't bad, but almost like a small local band playing in the corner might have the place packed out for a Saturday night. The side of Mac and cheese could be slightly bigger. Minor thoughts.

Food was 5/5 and I seriously cannot stress that enough.

Service 100%

Pricing is on point.

Delicious beers, outstanding service, and fun atmosphere! If I lived in Brandon or Tampa, this would be my go to brewery/bar. Their flagship beer, Lushable Crush IPA, is fantastic! No wonder it won best in FL, it's amazing!! The selection is also out of this world! 24 taps, 50+ local/specialty cans and bottles. So many IPAs. Too many for 1 visit, especially since most are over 7% abv.

Wed is open mic night and the musicians are phenomenal, like listening to a live band all night long. Quite impressive, just like the service!

The bartender was friendly, helpful, aware, informative, and down to earth. He chatted with us all night, shared lots of good beer knowledge, and gave several recommendations for local places when he found out I was from out of town.

They have a big screen tv to watch the TB Lightning win another Stanley Cup. They also serve food Thur-Sun. This place is a must visit if you...

We picked Bootleggers based on its location. We stopped to try the beer and we loved the variety with a couple outstanding brews, those being the Vienna Vixen and the Hefeweizen. We also ate dinner and enjoyed the meal. The flatbread pizza was excellent. A larger portion would have been better for dinner but the taste was so good. The Everything Salad was good as an entree. The only thing that disappointed me was the chicken we requested to be added to the salad. The meat was very salty. Salt should stay out of salads period. I understand a little being in meat, but the chicken was definitely over salted. We left with a very good impression of Bootleggers. The taproom is clean and modern. The bartender was great, being as friendly as can be. He addressed us as Sir and Ma'am and was super polite with every exchange. We want to visit again and try more of the beers.

This place is absolutely an amazing hidden gem. We visited here for lunch and a quick drink while our daughter was at cheer practice and man are we sure glad we stopped in! Megan our bartender was great. She not only greeted us, and promptly took our order, but she got to know why we were there and gave us honest advice from an actual local's perspective about things to do, traffic, and other local breweries. From there we had the best interaction with the owner who also had ties to Kentucky with his sweet hot rod that was parked out front. His stories were great and brought some of the best laughs the whole trip! If you are in the Brandon area don't hesitate to stop in, pick a flight (Blood Orange Cider is amazing), and grab a bite to eat (can't say enough good things about the delicious smoked wings!). So glad we found this place and certainly will be back!!!
